I always thought of Char as sort of an avenging antihero character in the old series. Whenever fellow soldiers died he seemed to care, but he also wanted vengeance against the family that ruined his own family. To me he was the one that ended the war. Without the gundam and Zeon having discovered the use of new types the war could have had a different outcome if Char hadn’t been the one to actually end the war when he did. I lked his change of heart in zeta to become more of a hero, but his past still played a big part in what was going on. His change in CCA to become a tyrannical pedophile was mostly from the cyber newtype enhancements messing with him. -
One sound very optimistic with around a thousand, but the possibility of only 2 saddens me so I’m just gonna pretend it’s over a thousand and counting.

Do you mean a new version of fenrir? They had one with cloud from advent children years ago and another cloud with the ff7 game version of the bike. At the time I thought the cloud with fenrir was a super expensive buy, but now you’re lucky to just get a newer version of cloud for that price. The figures used to be around 20 or 30 bucks. The cloud and bike were just over a hundred bucks.

I guess I prefer short to the point YouTube videos that I can watch on my phone at work. When I’m home I watch Netflix or something similar. Things like half in the bag just feel really long at almost an hour reviewing one or two movies an episode, even though those guys are funny. The other thing about toy galaxy that I like is the nostalgia factor. I like seeing a bit of quick history about my childhood favorites and sometimes not so favorites and sometimes they surprise me with their info.

I saw the preorder for that last night and am super tempted. The way they detailed such a simple character is amazing.

Arthurius, if the 1s is a favorite then there’s the chance of a max 1s recolor or a possible tv skull 1. Bandai loves reusing molds and may do a few more recolors soon.

It feels like a 1/1 ratio between normal releases and web exclusives these days and unfortunately the ones I really want are the exclusives. My favorite recent one so far is the gyan krieger. Just got the seams filled and hopefully will get the paint done soon.

I actually find their videos entertaining and mostly a good time waster at work. I found the battle beasts episode very surprising since growing up in the U.S. that there was a connection with transformers. I had a bunch of those little toys and never knew their origin.

I’m really hoping for a non valkyrie release next. The last few releases are great, but I need a change .

Last preorder for here in California was at ether 11:00 pm or 12 am. I don’t think I’ve ever seen one more than a few minutes past midnight pacific time. I do think a few stores may start later though, but I always worry I might miss out and order from the standard places.

Just saw it and I think part one had boring main character stuff and great side character stuff. Two has far better main character stuff and weak side character elements. The action got a bit silly in the first film and the second goes full robot jox. The opening scenes of this new film gave me a feeling of zz gundam but live action. The pilot outfits look more halo clunky and less anime sleek. I feel like the film was really good up until the halfway point but it’s still enjoyable enough with it’s stupidity. This film won’t bring in any new fans and may be too over the top for some old fans but I don’t feel like I wasted my time watching this.

Looks great overall. I’ve been thinking of picking up that kit and after seeing yours it may be my first purchase after the tax returns show up. I usually don’t buy many mg kits, but I like a good looking grunt.

I usually have to get one to open and one to keep in box, but I do like that idea of having one for space and one for atmosphere and with matching pilots. So I will probably get 3 and hate myself for overspending until it finally comes out.

I was kinda on the fence about this due to price, but the visor is just dumb. The face tends to be a major focal point and those lines in or out of the visor are just ugly. It’s a real shame since everything else looks alright for the kind of item it is.

Iron blooded orphans, may have been a better example since it’s a series and pretty recent as far as Gundam goes. The satellite anime almost always seems to try and use very cg looking mecha and unfortunately that seems to be a trend theses days. -
What Current Anime Are You Watching Version v4.0

Funimations streaming quality has gotten better recently, but it’s still not perfect. I like the variety on crunchyroll and I also have amazon prime as well as Netflix. I just wish the subtitle options looked as good on amazon. They have black, white and a black box with white or yellow letters and different sizes, but I wish they had white letters with a thin black outline like on all the other services. The black box options are easy to read, but get in the way and the other options dissapear depending on what’s on screen. -
I wouldn’t mind it, but anything that expensive now won’t work out for me.
