    I watched the first 2 episodes. I’m one of those new to this and there are so many name drops that I’m a bit lost. The fight choreography is pretty entertaining, but the armor is the most useless I’ve ever seen in anything. It takes so little effort to cut through that I don’t know why they bothered. And why does everyone complain about his clothes when everybody else dresses in worn faded outfits. The cg is very noticeably cg. Complaints aside, I’m still interested enough to try a few more episodes.

    To me the Ma k kit just ends up looking like a faded camouflage. I like the creativity, but it’s not for me.

    If I remember correctly, weren’t the Jedi considered myth and legend in the og trilogy. So I think in a society based on tech would probably disbelieve any stories of magic monks. It did seem that some knew about the Jedi, like Jaba. But Han didn’t. The galaxy is so big that maybe the only ones that believe are the ones that saw the Jedi in action.

    To be honest, I didn’t mind Rose. And to think about it, I don’t think I really disliked any characters in the new trilogy. I think plot and writing were the real problems. Especially in the case of the second film in the new three. I still want to see the third one good or bad. It probably won’t be the worst movie I’ve seen this year.

    I didn’t see an existing section, but it looks like wave is doing a new kit based on the old 77 illustrations from Japan. It’s a bit pricey for 1/20 scale, but might be fun for dioramas

    It’s more like a Wendy’s Baconator. Everything you really wanted and none of the the stuff you thought you needed.

    I didn’t like the humans in the transformers movies, but I didn’t feel pure hatred for them like the last Godzilla. And although the plots were pretty dumb, they were still better than king of monsters. But I’m only judging the first couple transformers movies. I still haven’t seen the rest. I have seen other Michael Bay films, like the bad boys movies and compared to who ever handled king of monsters makes Bay look like Shakespeare.

    I think the proportions and working bits make it very tempting for me. I really think it looks great and even the inner frame without armor looks amazing to me.

    I get what Nightbat is saying, but the wording is very entertaining in a paradoxical way if not totally confusing.

    I honestly don’t mind the length for the episode style. If it were a full hour, I feel like it would stress the writers too much and it would just be an hour of filler. Some of the shows on Netflix have had that problem in a big way. It is a very formulaic set up that reminds me of older shows from the 80’s. He’s on the run helps some one out and gets away by the end. But the shorter length of the show cuts out the drag. I guess a bit retro and a bit new, but very fun and so far I can’t wait for Friday to come for each new episode. It reminds me of being a kid again. Even that theme music as simple as it is has been getting stuck in my head all week.

    I’m not a big Barbatos fan, but I’ve seen it built with dullcoat and weathering and it looked really impressive.

    I saw the last one in IMAX and wasn’t super impressed. I think that mothra looked great though. My problem was that it kinda felt like torture having to watch those horrible human scenes. I don’t think that there’s any way they could have a worse plot or have that level of unlike able characters again.

    I’m really just joking around. I bet they’ll look great. I guess it was since the first teaser pic looked like a happy couple that we’re looking forward to a great life together, then they decided to add a third into the mix to spice things up in the second teaser and now they’ve separated and there’s some regret and really bad blood. I’m sure knowing your skill from what I’ve seen these will be amazing and can’t wait to see more.

    Hopefully it’s not as crappy as the last Godzilla film. Although they did set the bar very low, so I guess it can’t be worse

    I don’t know if it will be good or not, but it seems like dc decided they’re gonna go full Marvel from now on.

    I’m very iffy on this one. I don’t mind the idea of passing the torch to a new generation, but I was hoping for people at least old enough to legally drive.

    I kinda like the old school formula of the show. It reminds me of being young and waiting for the A Team or Airwolf or something. If it had a more catchy theme then it would be full nostalgia not that the current theme is bad, just not 80’s catchy.

    I’ve been wondering about the tracker as well. I think that somehow the bounties must have something imbedded in them, but maybe it’s an advanced bloodhound that knows particular scents, but I just don’t know

    I think a perfect shirt would say “this is the way” on the front and “I have spoken “ on the back. It would be the perfect end to a conversation as you turn and leave a room

    I loved the comics and cartoon. I remember how excited I was to find the action figure years ago before online shopping made things easy. i really think if they did live action they would need a much larger actor. I just don’t see Tatum in this role.

    I’m just wondering whose gonna get massacred next episode. Jawas, bounty hunters, storm troopers maybe next week will be Ewoks. The death count is pretty high on this show. Can’t wait for more.
