I've never had any problem with UPS or FedEX, but my roommate has had multiple DHL problems including a ruined 3000 dollar computer that they apparently dropped in the ocean before delivering to him :-\

hm maybe they are starting to add an overall time line.

there is no timeline. its like final fantasy. the only reason there seems to be connections is because unlike final fantasy, zelda uses the same characters over and over. the story is so ambiguous that you can stick any story line in ther eyou want and its pretty easy to make it fit because there is so little to work on.

the thing is, zelda as a franchise always has similar themes and recurring characters. i havn't been playing all the way through any of the recent games but i've never seen anything that specificaly said "remember last time, that thing that happend in the last game?" it's always ambiguous at best. You'll probably be able to find a few little things that could tie the games together, but it's a zelda staple to make the preceeding games essentially irrelevant to the newest game.

supposedly, in order to make link right handed, the entire wii version of the game is a mirror to the gc version. I have some problems with this mentallity, both that link is supposed to be a lefty, and that simply mirroring the entire game is lazy. I may be wrong though i'd like to see the GC version before i buy a wii

i've got absoloutly no problem with the wii's graphics. I'm a tad worried that it's processor might hold it back in game play design but thats a bout it. really the only thing stoping me is the fairy's tingly noise when ever the pointer is in motion. good lord that is anoying :-)

Zelda's storys have routeinly not had any relation to each other. for best results don't try and make the games link together, just enjoy it as a new take on Link, Zelda and what ever else.

17's look good on my wannabe-econo-sport, it really depends on the car, but imho 17's and bigger don't look right on muscle cars

two things to consider: 1) you're compairing full screen ps2 and wii pics with a 4 player split screen. 2) wii isn't so much about visuals, maybe the game is still tons of fun!! there is way more to games than graphics, especially when it's a racing game. given that, the ubisoft racer looks pretty rough.

thats two silver eva's with floppy elbows? anyone else had this problem on the silver one in paticular?

oh god, i remeber these, they had a swivvle on their suction cup foot. i remember one that was black with grey armor or something >.<

bah, my first real qc casualty, my eva unit 04 came with a totally floppy and worthless elbow revoltech joint. aside from some uneven paint on my unit 01's shoulder battery this is my only problem. how are the other eva owners fareing?

Imdb is indeed not my friend in this case, since it does little more than give me the title of the movie (which i already knew) and a few tid bits about who was in it and made it. note that the quote section is also specifically greyed out and not clickable. I also already looked on netflix, no dice there either.

I just watched a segment of a show on KQED (PBS)'s Masterpiece Theater, the program they were showing was called Voyage to the End of the Earth. Does anyone have this on DVD or have access to a version they could thumb through for me, there was a line that I liked but didn't have time to jot down. I'd much appreciate it. (I know this is a long shot :-) )

Put the engines up on the tail like an A-10, that would give the troop deployment doors full clearance and keep the troops away from the engines.

I'm feelin that too. pretty much the only thing i like seeing f-18s dressed up as are the Blue Angels.

to be honest i think the wings on both the x-02 and the 23 look stupid. :-P

pretty much my only regret is that they arn't as big as the kaiyodo EoE figures. though they are MUCH more detailed :-) my unit 02 looks like a towering behemoth next to these lil guys. they're a bit bigger than my banpresto mini valk though, they're good office fillers.

I agree completely with the OP, I think you have to be completely stoned or easily pushed by peer pressure to think Adult Swim is enjoyable.
