I just did too. Does NY let you cancel your orders ? Not like there’s anywhere else to get this 0D though......
I have contacted them twice already. Obviously I’m not worthy enough a customer to expect a response from them within the month.
My SSP order made in June last year is still outstanding and so is my VF-4G Focker edition.

Right, the strike (and now super) pack from Bandai seems to be a step back without the full interior details, especially because I thought that’s what the DX “roadmap” showed with the grey samples back in 2018.
I doubt that the Bandai DX GBP will have any more advanced features than the Yamato designs (from both 1/48 and 1/60) as well. I just don’t think Bandai will have individual missiles like the Yamato 1/48 did. Maybe a TWE “missile effect parts” or something....

I'm pretty sure the event is done by now. So whatever happened to Arad's and Chuck's Super Parts and Elvis' Valk?
Welcome back sir! We missed your animated gifs in this last round of PO madness.

Woke up to see this page lit and also an FB post showing the TV super parts announcement. Ordered from Okini land for the first time, but am not too worried about having to secure a second pack on Mandarake after release.
Parts/Armors have the advantage of being much easier to produce than transforming valks, and so it’s much easier to support the potential demand.

Then it would be the best GBP out there in the history of Valkyrie figures, hands down!

I especially like how perfectly and smoothly it fits on the figure. If anyone doesn’t have this and does have some of the Robot Damashii Full Armor Gundams, it’s very similar in the way everything fits and works.
Both the Arcadia 1/60 GBP and the HM-R GBP are designed extremely well, where parts fit snugly onto the Valkyries and the armor doesn’t really get loose from posing. However the proportions of the HM-R GBP is better IMO. Arcadia’s version seems a little more “blocky”.
I just wish that Bandai would replicate the proportions of the HM-R GBP and transpose them to the eventual DX version.

I'm kinda surprised they haven't made more use of the mold and re-released in other colors, like the VF-1A version they teased way back when. If you can find a GBP 1J for a price even remotely close to ¥15,000 I would jump on it.
59 minutes ago, Anasazi37 said:I ended up just biting the bullet and buying one through Mandarake, after watching them come and go for months at roughly the same price. Got mine through the SAHRA branch for ¥21,000 in Dec 2018. Bundled the purchase with Max (¥9000) and Milia (¥12,000) because all three were available and combined shipping would be cheaper. See what happens with this line? You can't buy just one.
Prices on all three of those valks have been remarkably stable since then, but I did notice that Mandarake has the GBP for ¥17,000 at a few locations right now. For anyone thinking about getting one, I don't think you're going to do better than that.
Yeah 15-17k yen on Mandarake is a great price for a HM-R GBP. The condition of the figures at Mandarake are the best in the used market IMO. At this price range you should seriously consider it if you have been looking for this set.

10 hours ago, Stranger said:Just placed my order for the Monster!! So, I am coming from a Transformers collector background - so was using sites focused on importing 3rd party TF toys.
This thread really introduced me to a lot of Japanese import sites! My original lead on a Monster was for $200 plus $60 shipping from a mainly Transformers site. Thanks to this thread, I head about Jungle and Manadrake. And then Anasazi37 mentioned FromJapan and Rakuten - so I ended up ordering the Rakuten Monser (using FromJapan's website since that was in English) to order the Monster for $153. Damaged box and missing instructions, but definitely a lot cheaper!Def looking forward to keeping my eyes peeled on these Japanese sites for the Regault, Officer's Battlepod, Destroids, and some VF-1's to add to the collection. I've never been this excited about a toyline before. I love how they are doing such a wide variety of characters and mecha.
Thank you everyone!
Personally I think the HM-R version of the VF-1J GBP is one of the best in the line, if you can find a used one at a reasonable price. Start looking early and jump on it when you see a good price on it.

Remains to be seen if Bandai will issue a "new" 1J with the grey-goggles for the GBP like they did with their HMR 1J-GBP.
They could continue doing their nickel-n-dime thing and make the GBP armor a more expensive TWE standalone accessory like the missiles and FPs, but to surprisingly include an extra 1J grey-goggle head.
Or both.
As for the TV Super-FP, possibly the same tactic.:
- Another 1J with Super FPs. (but that would be copying yamato-toys.)
- 1S Booby-Duck edition with Hikaru pilot.
- Standalone TWE Super FPs with extra Hikaru pilot.
I noticed that in both the VF-1J and the Roy 1S, Bandai specifically said that these are “Limited First Edition” (or “初回限定版” ). This has got to be deliberate, and I am expecting another release of the 1J (grey goggles for GBP) and 1S (Hikaru) in the future with slight tweaks, minus the extra fighter mode stands.

I think the word "minutes" is generous with most cases.
Agree. Seconds is probably a more appropriate measurement.

People have been saying it looks like the TV super pack.
Back to the Roy figure for a second, I don't think this figure ever went up on Play Asia so I would keep an eye out there for those still interested.
Just looking at it on my phone, it looks like a VF-1S in Gerwalk mode, with super pack and red tipped (TV) reaction missiles.

do you think we'll get the two seaters? if a 1D comes out I NEED it as much as this roy. the 1D, roy's 1S, and hikaru's 1J are like the trio that mean the most to me as an SDFM fan. sure completing vermillion would be nice as well as max and mirria's 1js and of course browies and brownie 1J but i don't want to repeat the 1/60 v2s and go for near completion.
I don't think I want a two seater in the current DX VF-1 configuration TBH. Imagine it would probably take a remold or "renewal version" of some sort to incorporate the dual seater canopy design, and also the nosecone-release mechanism that's trademark of the VF-1D.
If Bandai can do that, then I'll gladly hand over much higher than MSRP for it if I have to.

Count me in as another person waiting and seeing on NinNin. Got one at $225, paid PayPal, it releases within the 180 days of coverage, we'll see. I've gotten multiple items from them before and have never been screwed, so that's one more positive experience to add I guess.
Hopefully when November rolls around everyone who ordered gets their toys, won't bother with them anymore if I see others getting screwed at release.
That's my only preorder from last night, so I sure hope they come through.

It's the Kite logo (TV) Skull logo (DYRL) and the arm mounted missile launcher's shape
agree - with the DX and its (almost) over the top tampo markings, I think that some of them may be different between the TV super pack and the DYRL strike pack, such as the "ARMD-01" reference would probably be switched to "Prometheus" for the TV version.

Tried searching, but always have a problem finding a post so thanks in advance for anyone who is able to help but.... anyone have pictures to the differences between the TV and DYRL super packs? Thanks!

Thanks.
We'll see in November if my friend can find some in Akihabara. He owes me one anyway since I managed to hook him up with a retail price Hikaru 1S when he couldn't get one.
I hope you get more than one too. I will never be able to weather my valks like that, and really enjoy seeing your work on here. Good luck!

Respect! Good to see that you can fix it yourself. While unfortunate, it's probably not a bad spot to have a DIY repair part in the back of the legs, you won't see it 99% of the time anyway.

AJ and Nin-Nin, one from each.
I got Roy drunk, grabbed a few hours of sleep, managed to secure the POs (maybe being Roy drunk helped?), topped up on some single malt to celebrate/commiserate with everyone here, then went back to sleep.
I wished I double checked my amazon login on their japanese site (I assumed I was already on having switched countries only). The two-factor verification step killed my chances. and it was only like an extra 10 seconds.

I'm not getting notifications (yes, I checked spam) for any threads. Are you guys?
I paid for EMS on my 0D, reached out to them to ask for shipping upgrade, first reply was quick with a price quote. Then the next day I got notification saying "preparation in progress", but no further info on how I can pay for the upcharge. 6 days later and two more tickets in, still complete radio silence.
I guess all I'm saying is, the notification may not mean much, at least in my case it doesn't mean anything.

So my bank blocked the transaction for "N2G export" because they say this website has a super high record for fraudulent activity. I thought it was the company receiving the payment, so i went back to NIN NIN and reordered it, and this time i payed with paypal. When i see the Paypal payment, it says "N2G export" there too. So this means, either the bank was exaggerating, or NIN NIN has defrauded many. So NIN NIN is N2G export, in paper.
I am both sad and terribly mad now. Either my bank made me waste money unnecessarily [i called them about it too, and let them have it, politely], or NIN NIN has more of my money and it is going to F me on the release date.
This has been a terrible experience. Some peopl eseem to have had good experiences with NIN NIN here, and not others. I feel like an idiot now, and i hope i get my TV Roy.
Water under the bridge mate. Sorry to hear about your bad experience. I'm not sure about my PO with them either, but we'll find out in due course. You may perhaps want to keep a bookmark out for mandarake or amazon JP on the day of release to see how after market prices go, just in case you need a backup solution.
