They seem to be finally moving (baby steps).  I received a shipping upcharge payment request an hour ago after submitting the ticket with the magic words in the title.  It's now an agonizing wait to receive the shipping notification, and another wait to get the item in hand.

Right.  So joking aside, I think they just wanted everyone with the same issue to send them a ticket with the EXACT title they gave us, so they can run a filter off the tickets they have received and deal with us all at some point?  At least I am hoping that would be the first step in the right direction.

NY just keeps getting worse for me. My three SSP have not been shipped. They're several months late at this point and require payment up front... super shady. I made a ticket the day the 0D came out and asked to upgrade shipping since I had EMS. No response. I made a second ticket, this time asking to "switch to UPS" or whatever the method is, I thought specifically identifying which method I wanted might help the ticket out. No response. Last night I got an email from NY (not a response to one of my two tickets). They asked me to make a ticket requesting to have my shipping changed on my 0D order since EMS is unavailable. I ALREADY HAVE TWO TICKETS FOR THAT VERY PURPOSE. gah. 

Funny you mentioned getting an email from NY last night because that's exactly when I received the same email as well.

Like you I already have two OPEN TICKETS for the exact same request, but I was asked to send a new ticket with the title "Change Shipping Method".  And, guess what, that's very similar (but not quite the exact words) of what I had already sent...

Did you also notice that the email was NOT a reply to your open tickets, but just an email out of nowhere from NY?  I said half jokingly in the 0D thread last night, that NY must have read what I have posted on here, and within hours I got that email.

To be honest I've never seen (or just flat out don't remember) any issues with Arcadia items being sourced by any of the shops we use, including N-Y. For the 0D my concern was always how quickly they'd ship once they had them in stock.

Exhibit 8,352 re: their inconsistent communication. It has to be at the top of the list of things to piss off your customers.

Hopefully you get yours shipped out soon as well.

That urban camo on the low vis 1A is spot on - it seems as though the colour scheme of the urban camo is really designed for the low vis in the first place!  Absolutely gorgeous.

I asked for and received a prompt response about asking to upgrade from EMS to UPS, that came within a few hours, I paid and it took about 3 days for me to get a shipping notice.

I have been EXTREMELY patient with them and didn't put in a new ticket until yesterday.  If they are slow in sorting through orders, at least let us know so that the customer knows we are not waiting in vain.  I am just worried that they may turn around and say, sorry, due to COVID-19 and some bs, we can't source the VF-0D now and you will receive store credit.  I will absolutely flip if they do that to me.  This, along with the DX Roy TV version, are my two most wanted figures in my collection.

I should have jumped on the one at Mandarake for 45k yen last week.  At this point I am not even sure that I will receive my VF-0D PF from NY.  Multiple tickets sent, absolute radio silence.

Absolutely this.  I don't think I will be getting a TV Hikaru 1S when/if it gets made. 

For me it's already 99% accurate if I use the TV Hikaru in Roy's TV 1S with the super parts, and red tipped reaction missiles.

To keep this relevant to the thread, could this price drop be a sign that the Japanese market is expecting a Bandai DX GBP announcement in 2021??

Ignoring the pilot name on this valk, and swapping out Roy with Hikaru, this is pretty much THE ultimate VF-1S TV version that I have wanted for years.

So recap:  I missed the Online Only TWE release of tv Fast packs?

What was the cost? I had to log on the computer and go through the emails cause the mail client on the phone is too tedious to read - AND - deleted messages at the same time. 

I'd LIKE to have these. but it sounds like I won't, and its not going to ruin my world cause I'm still a little mad at bandai about the price of a pretty much entirely plastic expansion that has no transformation or clever engineering. I buy a lot of plastic from Bandai (Gundams) and they are pricing these Fast Packs to gouge.)

 

I won't be so hard on yourself mate.  I think that these super/strike parts sets are relatively easier to produce (compared to the full transforming valks) and we have already seen Bandai do reruns of the SSP set, and they are not that hard to find at a slight markup in the second hand market today.

Fast forward to December, you should be able to find one on Mandarake for like 10-11k yen, or even less going forward depending on demand. 

Bottom line is - you will be able to get it, albeit not for 8,800 yen, but hopefully not much higher.

I understand where you are coming from, makes sense. 

TBH I think one set of TV super parts will probably be enough for me anyway.  I would rather save towards the eventual grey visor VF-1J to go with the GBP for the canon look.
