Seems like we are in the same situation. However I’m not too worried yet because it does seem that there is a lot of stock going around in Hong Kong at the moment, which may suggest that Bandai had really upped the production volume for this one.

NNG has replied to my ticket. I asked if I needed to upgrade from EMS to UPS/DHL. They said they should upgrade it automatically and will let me know when it ships. I am happy to see that quite a few others have already received tracking info from them. Fingers crossed I will get a tracking number on Monday.

I’m in the first batch with NNG’s Roy preorder as well, but would probably wait a bit more than a week before escalating things with them. They have delivered my prior orders and I am cautiously optimistic that they will come through. Here’s a suggestion: how about all of us NNG buyers keep track of when/how much our preorders were, and let others know once we have shipment updates so at least we all know if they had systematically fulfilled the pricier orders before the cheaper ones. That “evidence” would probably help our case more than spam emails asking “where’s my stuff”? Rdrunner: 1x Roy DX @ 17,820 yen ordered on July 3

Yeah I am of the same mindset that if NNG honors the 17800 yen PO’s, that would be fantastic. I’m somewhat hopeful that there seem to be plenty of Roys available from the initial prices on amazon and YJA. I dropped NNG a message and will let you guys know if I hear anything.

Lucky you! I have a preorder with Nin-Nin but no news yet (I picked EMS shipping at the time). If you don’t mind me asking, what was your PO price and what shipping method did you pick? Thanks.

I got the same notification today from MK as well. It was my “insurance” for my PO at nin-nin for 17,800 yen... i have a feeling that the stock level of Roy DX is not as tight as previous issues. A few toy stores in Hong Kong have recently opened rounds of pre order for around HKD 2,000 ($250 US) for local pickup.

Yeah I’m with you on the proportions of the GBP as well. Thought something looked off and it’s not as “beefy” as I thought. That 1D though, the double seater and canopy looks very nice. I wonder if the proportions were tweaked for the two seater?

Congrats - yesterday I finally received a response from NY. They told me straight up that they will not be getting the SSP because a supplier has screwed them, and I can either get store credit or a one-time (gasp) option to switch to other merchandise of the same value, or wait even longer (but no guarantees). Seems to me they are telling different stories to different customers, and they liked you more than they liked me I guess....

Hi, I am also thinking of going straight to my CC company because it's been like a year and 3 months since I placed my order, and they just kept ignoring my tickets asking about it. I have a "travel" credit card with no foreign transaction fees, and paid through CC directly instead of paypal. Did you have to gather screenshots of your tickets with NY to ask for a refund? Just wanted to make sure I maximize my chances before I go in. Thanks very much! -

I am just waiting for the TV Kakizaki, GBP armor, and if they'll make one, TV VF-1D. But I think double seaters will probably not be made using this exact same mold - maybe a renewal version or something with modified cockpit proportions and hopefully detachable nosecone/pilot seat enclosure.

Haha, thanks, good to know there are other Family Guy fans here! I think my repeated postings about NY may have caught their attention on MWF, and they finally sent instructions on how to submit (yet another) ticket to request a change in shipping method. Finally received my 0D PF by UPS yesterday.

In the Asia forums there is talk about local stores getting an extra allocation of the DYRL VF-1S last Saturday, out of the blue. YJA prices seems to have come down slightly as well. Apparently Bandai found extra stock and these are being pushed through the regular channels. Very strange - was Bandai hoarding their own stock of the DX 1S in the first place?? haha!

Sorry mate to hear about your continued problems with them. Are you the one who got the used Hikaru DX VF-1S when you tried to place a PO for Roy's DX? That whole thing is both bizarre and frakked up. I hope you get resolution on this soon one way or another, and I agree with you, never settle for store credit. Best of luck!

Hi Jenius, I got an email from them (and I think you did too) asking me to submit a new ticket with the exact title "Change Shipping Method", and that seemed to have worked. Got a payment request yesterday afternoon, which I paid for immediately, and got a shipment notice and UPS tracking number this morning. Hope you'll get yours soon.

An update: within two days of posting on here, NY reached out to me and quite a few others in the same situation about the 0D, asked us to submit another ticket titled "Change Shipping Method", I got a payment request for the UPS upcharge the next day, paid immediately, and I woke up this morning and received a "shipped" notification with UPS tracking number. I hope this works out for everyone else who's in the same boat.
