This is a general release. But right now, you still need to pre-order if you want to 100% secure one. Otherwise you'd be by the mercy of the reseller.

I'm glad battletech is more than enough to keep me awake. This really sucks for us EST folks.

Is it me or the bottom fin paint is wrong compare to the show?

Someone on a chinese forum translated that part as "including missiles and arm cannon that shows up in the show".

So missiles confirmed?

Don't think they ship by order number. I remember couple pages ago someone who ordered on 10th got his by the end of March already. By the logic his order number should be way behind those who ordered on 6th and 7th. Yet his order got shipped 2 days after the release date.

I'd pre-ordered from N-Y Oct 6th (9am EST) and it took 2wks via EMS (unusually long delivery via EMS) but I got it and its beautiful.  I initially submitted a polite question a week after Mar 24 release date and got a canned response.  But in the end I did get it, so all I can say is try to have patience - they might still deliver.  I hope all of you get yours.

I can't wait to lightly weather and panel line this baby! (after I stop zooming around the house!)

This gives me hope.

Never contacted them, I will be patient and keep on waiting.

A curious thing I noticed while browsing taobao is that many listings include an option for a unit right now for 350-400 or a “replenishment” unit approximately a month from now for 250-300.

I am probably just reading the machine translation wrong and I was not able to successfully place an order anywhere. Of the three I selected:

1 indicated no-stock

1 offered a unit for $390 with a note saying the “replenishment” option was for those that have placed a deposit already.

1 did not respond

The other listings were so expensive I didn’t bother.

One more thing I noticed on a recently sold yahoo auctions listing; the seller indicated they just received their 31-A ordered directly from Bandai this month. Again probably just machine translation gone amok but who knows ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I checked some of those. One seller mentioned he should receive his stock on Aug 10. Another is out of stock. The rest is mostly copy-paste stuff from either the bandai site or standard stuff about their store. If you can pm me the link, I can do some accurate translation (I'm Chinese-Canadian).

IDK wtf is going with NY by this point. But I'm sure that this is my last business with that site.

I'll get back into weathering when I get a new airbrush. The one I was using is having airflow issues and I haven't been able to get proper support with regards to fixing it.

Huh, so the order I placed at HLJ did show up 10mins later. Cancelled CDJ's order.

Welp, first ordered 1 on HLJ. Although it says order confirmed, I see no order in process under my account, and no email confirmation either. Placed another one on CDjapan. Got the email and my heart rate drops
