I'm a fan of anime . . . but I also happen to be a fan of Tron. I was hoping there would be some like-minded fans here, that would be willing to help out with a good cause. I've been trying to get Buena Vista Games, the game division of Disney, to stop treating its Tron games and customers like crap. The Tron 2.0 game for the PC never got the support or attention it deserved, and neither have the other games that were released. As far as I know, DR Movie is doing 100% of the animation (2D and 3D) and Tatsunoko is doing zilch. Makes sense, it costs HG less money that way. It's been said that DR Movie sees this as their chance to break out from under the sway of Japanese animation studios. If this thing becomes popular in America, it will put DR Movie in a better position to negotiate their own terms on future projects.

Tomy is buying Takara. But it doesn't take effect until next year. What effect this will all have . . . who knows.

Wow. People actually like my edited trailer. To clear some things up . . . The music is just temp music, the proper music hasn't been composed yet. This trailer was thrown together at the last minute for AX, probably due to pressure from fans for HG to show something . . . ANYTHING. To prove the series isn't vaporware. Yes, the 3D kind of sucked. Many are hoping those were just early takes on the CG. The screenplay and voice work were completed last year, and the animation is either complete or very near to completion. (IMDB says Shadow Chronicles has entered the post-production phase.)
