Just to not feel that i made you guys loose time, here is my current Hi metal valks collection

The DX shoulder/hip hinges and the neck portion may not micronize well, or be too expensive to meet HM-R price point once redesigned.

That i agree, besides the frontier valks are considerable bigger compared to the VF 1. Most likely there will be a increase in the price.

Good point. Frontier valks may be too complicated for 1/100. Would it have to be a complete rethink of the transformation?

Still would be nice to see the sleek VF-25s in this scale.

Im sure they can pull it off if they want to. Beside they can part swap all that its too complicated to do at that scale

Seems to be something to do with the inbuilt orientation not getting correctly identified when you upload the photos. And it only seems to impact iPhones for some reason.

finally my 2 VF-1A are here!

I just opened my 1J Hikaru. Wow, you guys were right about the quality drop. The only other one I have opened so far is the Roy Super 1S and this J seems like a KO in comparison. Parts fall off everywhere and it just feels cheap. My right antenna seems ok but the left fell off in the box and during transformation or handling. The backpack blast shield popped off when I first tried to fold it down out of the box and has fallen off at least 5 times since going through the transformations. The chest piece popped off when transforming. One of the missle pods is very loose. Seems like all the parts are correctly installed at least. While the 1S sold me on this whole line, this 1J is giving me a bad taste and making me very worried about the others. Gonna open a 1A next and see how that goes. If it's not more reassuring, I might not ever even transform my M&M's.

I didnt note anything worth while mentioning between my VF1S Hikaru, Roy, GPB, VF1J. The last one i played with was in fact the 1J and its sturdiness overall was in line with the others. I need to check the VF 1A that i hace to pick up on monday. Ill add more about it later.

those decals on the stand are kinda lame, seem like a bootleg. They should have added one with the helmed off.

Yeah I'd say everyone that wanted one got one (or two or three or....) this time around so the VF-4 market dried up. I doubt we will see a reissue in the VF-X scheme again but they may do a limited repaint down the line, hopefully something crazy or maybe the Max scheme from M3.

I bet if they do a hikarus paint scheme from flashback it will sell like hot cakes. Maybe as a web exclusive.

Looking at the last row of boxes we can see how often the 1Ss have been released in comparison to others over that last couple of years. Come on Arcadia let's mix it up. The ostrich, elint, 1D and max and mirya iJs are begging to be re-released. The one 1S they haven't re-released but i'd buy is the max IS.

Is the neck on the TV 1J's longer than the GBP version?

not that i noted, but the 1j comes with a neck cover, to fill the gap and look more complete, maybe that gives the ilusion of a shorted neck.

MyKombini doesn't have the time to ship my Max but they DO have time to list them on ebay, however.
