  1. Well ladies and gentlemen. Delta is finally done.

Any thoughts or ideas on what will keep those Walkure sales going without the show?

Maybe an OVA taken a few months later on Walkure doing a galactic tour or the members possibly retiring from Walkure and going solo?

  2. I've been a Macross fan since 1982. In the last 3+ decades I've steadfastly loved and supported the franchise, even and especially the red-haired step child's of the franchise; Macross II and Macross 7.

But honestly speaking, for the first time ever since I fell in love with Macross, I feel no compelling or urgent desire to watch this latest episode of Macross Delta

Sure, I'll watch it eventually, but it's not like in the past where I'll use any and all methods to watch a new episode as soon as I can.

Graham i feel exactly the same way and could not of said it any better.

No one remembers a boring show but i will never forget the cheese that Macross II and 7 gave us.

Shoji clearly doesn't care about Delta and guess what... neither do most of the long standing supporting fans.

  3. It was a cheapshot from the producers to introduce those piano versions of Oboeteimasuka. Using nostalgia to make me feel good about the episode...how dare they! :p

We all knew that Hayate's dad was the one that gave her the player so no surprises there. But Berger coming out and saying that there's a link between Lady M and Megaroad is a huge surprise since it's a bit of an aboutf ace from Kawamori on letting sleeping dogs lie. It's either Minmay or Misa then with one of the bunnies as a wild card.

I fear that the series will tank saleswise once those second cour BD's become available. Only Macross otaku and some Walkure fans will be gobbling up that stuff

You hit the nail right on the head.

Made me feel all those DYRL feels all over again!

Once the show does come to an end will Walkure still stick around long enough

without the show backing it continue selling tickets?

They sure as heck are not selling many toys. Draken only drops 2017

and the usual trope this late in the series is a mysterious prototype VF to

swoop in and save the day.

Even king Gramia SV making a cameo in the last fight would be great but that would be asking too much i guess

  4. Hmm I miss the times delta pulled off neat scenes in each episode .like when mikumo could pop out of the rubble in ep1, the scarfish cat, fast pack appearances, draken transformations, any scene with messer, Elysion shotgun move just to name a few..

Now I don't feel even surprised that mikumo is the wind singer clone...

And cmon we need an armored valk!!!!!

Remember when the Immelman dance was a thing

  5. Craig, don't take it personally but you talk WAY to much dude.

Let others have their turn. Listening to the older podcast's it feels like all the other speakers constantly have to wait for you to finish.

Ep23 podcast even felt very tense at times, didn't Adrian have to step in at one point?

Its not that I don't value your opinion on Delta, just ease up a little and let other people get a chance to get in on the action also.

This is only my opinion, I don't speak on behalf of the entire listener base

Just take it as constructive criticism and just apply the breaks from time to time.

On a personal note i would love more Karice and Macross E news on the show.

  6. I gave this episode a neutral vote

The Koenig was a delight, animation quality was up this week and FINALLY we get some action.

Is it me or does the choreography for all the atmospheric battles seem to be exactly the same?
I hate those damn forearm cannons on the 31, i miss seeing a gunpod in action but those occasional big blasts from
    the draken are cool.

I love how Hayate bitches at Freya to sing, she gets slapped then Hayate goes var in less than a minute and loses his mind.
Well done Hayate, well done *slow clap*

Then we have Cassim who looks like he craps himself in the cockpit just before he goes down and while all this is occurring
Arad is just chilling in the background not really assisting. Arad is the polar opposite of Ozma, he was always neck deep in
the action yelling at Alto to hurry up. Nope... Arad just chills there, going grey.

MVP of the Ep was Chuck. FINALLY seeing a 31 launching missels with a cool pose was a long time coming and Chuck nailed it.

The biggest flaw of this ep is that IT DOESN'T MOVE THE STORY FORWARD!!

We have maybe 4/5 episodes left?

I could care less about what happens to any of them, except Chuck.
I hope he reunites with his sister *if she survived* when they go back to Ragna.
Rest of them can jump into a dimensional fold onto Planet Dont Care.
