I ordered two on separate occasions. im not sure about 1 person limit, as it does not state that on order page and i did order two vf-25s on the reissue and i received both. I guess Ill find out!
The 1 per customer limit is listed in the check out page.

*snip*
I also had to remove a 1cm sized spot of what appeared to be dried blood on one of the 1J's legs. Fun times.

Mr. K requires blood sacrifice. Grey goggles don't come free you know.

Thanks for that insight, anubis. Btw, those are some serious birds you scored!

It really is too bad that the ranking of their used items is such a crap shoot. Cuz even with high fees, I'm willing to pay a premium to get a nicer collectible. But of course, when you don't, it feels like a slap to the face. You can't help but feel gypped then.
Have you purchased from Mandarake, anubis? I know jvmacross mentioned that he feels Jungle is more picky about what they buy and sell than Mandarake... so that certainly doesn't bode well for them either then. At least they don't have the inflated fees I guess.
Like anubis pointed out, the lesson here is that if you're gonna buy secondhand items, consider yourself playing the lottery cuz the ranking will be all over the place.

Great transaction with sreichma! Easy seller to communicate with and ships out packages fast and secure.
Thanks again!

Thanks, barurutor. Yeah, maybe I'll also keep to only getting new/sealed items from now on so as to avoid interpretation of quality.

Finally made my 1st purchase from JUNGLE! (Thanks again to all you guys who helped out and offered tips!)
... Unfortunately, it didn't go too well.

Consider this a mini rant if you must, but I'm not trying to dissuade anyone from shopping at JUNGLE as many here have had a great experience with them. But just so other noobs can make an educated choice to buy from JUNGLE or not, I just want to share what made my transaction with them not so favorable:
1. Shipping/handling fees - You guys weren't kidding... they charge a ton in fees! Sure, I was warned beforehand, but the final figure was still shocking. My total cost ended up being an addition 28% on top of the listed price.

2. Paid for an item listed as "A" but got a "B" - This one can be subjective since we're dealing with secondhand items here of course, but when they state on their site an A item as "Item new, only the outer box has been opened", then of course I'm not gonna be happy with receiving one that's obviously been more than just opened with some light scuffs on the valk itself, a display stand that's quite yellowed, and, worst of all, missing a part.
3. Mediocre customer service - They were fairly fast in responding, but when I wrote to complain about the condition of the item and the missing piece from the package, they offered 2 underwhelming options: either wait for them to get the same item again so they can send me the missing part (whenever that'll be) OR accept a refund of 1,000JPY (about $
. Seriously. $8. On a $250+ item. That's missing a part.Luckily, after emailing back, they did finally increase the refund amount to 3,000JPY ($24). And they added the option to return the whole thing for a full refund. In the end, I took the 3,000JPY refund since they insist you use the cheapest possible return shipping if you go with the return option. Can't blame them for that, but that basically means a long shipping time and no additional insurance and I wasn't comfortable being without the item or my money for 2-4 weeks under those conditions.
In the end, I still overpaid by about ~$18 compared to the previous "B" listing of the same item even after the refund. (Yes, I had been camping at the site for a while and been tracking prices, lol.) But at least I got something back.
So that was my experience. Thanks for reading!

whats that green rasengan looking thing? lol
Pin-point barrier punch.
What CY said! (Jump to the 2:50 mark)
-
Oh man, could you?!... Thanks so much, CY! Grey would be just fine... I'm just glad to get a replacement at all, lol

All my Macross fund is still going towards valks at the moment or otherwise I would've ditched this Yamato stand and gotten a YetiStand from the get-go. But for now, it's all I've got so I really appreciate it.
I'll PM you to ask for the details on how to pay you for the print. Thanks again!
-
Dunno if this is the appropriate thread to ask in (apologies in advance if it isn't), but does anyone know where I can get a replacement for the small plug cap that locks the top-most piece in place on the Yamato stand after you've chosen your angle and slotted it in?
I recently got a first release YF-21 that comes with the clear stand and that plug cap piece is missing.

Big thanks to DarrinG for a fast and easy transaction.... And his awesome creation! (Talking about his cool gun straps of course.)
-
Ah gotcha... In that case, I agree.
Hope the color comes out relatively close to the photos as I'm definitely liking the cool tones on this new 0A. More tampos out of the box still would be nice tho.

-
Finally after a long year of nakeness... got my YF-19 dressed as it should of out of the box.

Amazing, wm cheng!
Hope you don't mind, but since I still don't have an Arcadia YF-19, I made a quick before/after pic so I could admire all the intricate details you added in there. (The "before" photo I used is from http://www.gunjap.net/.)
Thanks for sharing your great work! Definitely agree that the 19 should've come with most of those markings tampo'ed on out of the box.

-
Yeah, that latest twitter pic certainly looks amazing with all those markings!... But knowing Arcadia, none of them will actually be tampos on the final product

-
Missed on the preorder for financial reasons. Is there any place where I can find these in stock? I'm in the lookout for the newest Arcadia GBP bundle as well.
NY still has the Monster in stock:
As for the Arcadia GBP, I believe the pre-order period ended. But I'm sure you'll be able to snag one once it's released.
-
That looks kinda large for a 1/72. But I agree, it does look awesome!
You're right... I wonder if it's the 1/48 and they just mislabeled it.
Here's another pic...

-
Damn, saw a new post dated today and thought it might be new pics from the Shizuoka Hobby Show

https://twitter.com/taylandplus/status/599779800669032449
It's from the 54th Shizuoka Hobby Show... but unfortunately, it's not the Bandai toy.
It's a 1/72 model kit mod I believe.Looks so awesome... sure has me pumped for the Bandai release!

The only mention of missiles in the description on the seller sites is "medium-range air-to-air missile" which is the group of three missiles you're talking about. I wouldn't be surprised if that's all they include if the VF-0D is any indication. As much as I love my 0D, man, they were stingy with the accessories.
-
Too much Vaseline.
PO cancelled.
LOL, I'm thinking Mr.K is a bit too into his valks.

Seriously tho, I wonder what he uses that for... Maybe even in the prototype stage the joints are too tight, haha
-
These look awesome! How are they attached?... Do you need to glue them on?
-
I'm sure he doesn't need any more great feedbacks on here, but big thanks to sil80jdm on an easy and quick transaction. Packs securely and ships ridiculously fast.
Couldn't have gone any more smoothly for my first big purchase here!
-
Nice! If only they could have an exhibit like that here in the states....
-
I guess, the only time I will buy a multiple, if I have a big room and lots of money to spend so I can display the valk like this:
That's an awesome display! Was that from a Macross gallery or something in Japan?

Hi-Metal R
in Toys
It's plastic now... I think that's just black plastic on that image. The new one looks a bit shiny but it can still be plastic. I'm not sure if it needs metal either unless there was trouble with the FP's, which I never got.
Thanks for confirming that, EXO! Yeah, I never owned the original Hi-Metal, but I can't imagine them changing it to metal unless they really had to for the GBP armor or somehting.
Not really...but kind of....
Dammit jvm, I thought that was a pic of a new variant for this new Hi-Metal R when I first saw that pic! Got my hopes up

What are those dark sections of the backpack hinge? Perhaps they have chosen to construct that hinge with metal?
Dunno if they're metal now (hope so!), but the early prototype for the original Hi-Metal also had that section dark.

Nice! You're fortunate to have such a good friend!
And here I thought I was lucky to have snag one of those HLJ anomalies. (Still have no idea if HLJ is even going to fulfill them or not.
) *crosses fingers*
