Is there a lot of colour difference between VF-1J Armored Valkyrie and VF-1J Armored Valkyrie (TV)?

I finally got around to opening my VF-1S. Can someone please explain what the smaller, fused wings are for? Thanks

Just made my payment for Roy at NY. Roy has always been my favourite so there was no way I was going to miss out but it sucks that the Pay Later option has been disabled.

HLJ finally got around to cancelling my extra Regults so now I only have one. They also cancelled my second 1S so I am only getting the one now. 1 mech, 3 modes, only able to preorder 1 at HLJ Unless I start seeing more 1S getting listed like the 1J I will fear the release of the Regults and my need to army build them.

I like to think it is due to the popularity of the Hi-Metal line. That is why I came here

I haven't seen anyone saying they can buy a new 1/60 now at 1/100 pricing.

I can't help but smile when people are comparing the 1/100s to the 1/60s. It is almost like saying "I like the Transformers Legends figures but they are no replacement for the Masterpiece line" I am being facetious but you are not going to see the same engineering in a Legends figure that you will in a Masterpiece figure just as the same can be said for 1/100 to 1/60. I have two 1/60s, Yamato VF-1S and Arcadia YF-19 and I don't even touch them. My 1/100 GBP has been transformed constantly and I really can't wait for the next lot of releases and preorders. If what Bandai have shown becomes a reality and it stays popular then the 1/100 line will outdo the 1/60 line in expanse.

I am extremely happy with my VF-1 so I think it is better than just okay.

I am glad you guys can keep it clean. The way I see it is Breetai is using his *ahem* appendage to do something that can't be good

I think Breetai needs to be an honorary member of the HMR line. He will be for me at least

I am not big into the canon like you guys so all these different Valks/Mech are going to be on the same team. The only downside with that is they will greatly outnumber the Zentraedi so I am going to have to even them up with extra Regults. That is going to get expensive and will only be possible if they get re-releases down the line. As for casual collectors getting on the HMR line, that is how I am came to be here. I only have a Yamato VF-1S and an Arcadia YF-19 in 1/60 but I am all in on everything in 1/100.

I still don't have a VF-1S preorder secured but when the GBP was released they were readily available. AmiAmi even had them to buy earlier this week. I am hoping that turns out to be true the VF-1S as well so I guess we will see in 4 weeks. I am thinking about getting 2 VF-1S and putting 1 under the GBP Armour and putting the Strike Parts on the VF-1J, canon be damned

I just keep checking randomly and that is how I have been lucky. Captain Phasma was also available so I grabbed her as well. They already have the tooling for the VF-19 so it is certainly possible. I was initially excited with this line when it was first shown and then greatly disappointed when I couldn't get preorders in but now that everything seems to be attainable I am extremely excited again. In my opinion, the greatest thing about this line is the enemy mecha. Valkyries are great and all but seeing the Regult and the Glaug is awesome. I am not a huge Macross fan but I adore the mech designs and that is enough for me to get everything Bandai chooses to make in this line. I hope the early success and excitement transfers to a robust line expanding throughout the multiple Macross series.
