  1. Any1 remember "the Mighty Orbots"? I don't think they ever made toys for it, but that would have been great for godaikin fans.

Oh I remember Mighty Orbots. The blonde dude with a his little android companion and 5 living mechs in his apartment and the evil Umbra (Which looked like a vaginal  MCP BTW). Props 2 Tokyo Movie Shinsa for the animation who also worked on Bionic 6.

  2. I happen to see it on Amazon. I was suprised and I know a few of you know about this title. I haven't seen this horror flick yet (I hear it's like Ringu) but do plan to pick this up at Best Buy (if they have it that is). Are there any MW reviews?

  5. Not to alarm anyone, but Rebel Strike was reviewed in the new issue of Game Informer... and it didn't do very well.  6.5 (out of 10) from one reviewer, and a 6.75 from the other.

A quote from the article, "The butchery that Factor 5 has inflicted upon this game has led to a disasterous release that will likely be remembered as one of the biggest dissapointements in all of gaming."

The gist of the review, from both reviewers, is that the on foot stuff is terrible, with bad controls and a useless targeting system.  The flying parts are still supposed to control fluidly, but the enemy AI is supposed to be terrible, making the game way to easy (and boring) this time.

Doesn't sound good, guys.  I'm gonna save my money for Castlevania instead.

GI's reviews are iffy. They gave Enter The Matrix for all consoles and average 8.5 out of 10 and you know how buggy and non sensicle at times the game can be.

For better game reviews I look to good old' EGM, who knows they could go either way good, bad, gold, or platinum game of the month. For years they helped me with my gaming purchases and been satisfied.

As for Rebel Strike, I don't own a GC yet but when the time comes for a purchase RS will be one of the games on my list to get as well. Plus I'm a Star Wars whore

  6. ... some (many?) of us do like Superdimension Cavalry Southern Cross and Genesis Climber Mospeada--possibly moreso than some of the Macross sequels.

Well... I'd take Elton John, Barney, and the Teletubies over Macross 7. So yeah.

I hope Keith didn't see that!

    :o:D:lol::D

  7. zombies ate my neighbors.  :p

I thought that was great game. It had a very 1950's sci-fi horror plot and that's perfect for a little campy film. It was a LucasArts game I recall maybe his group can head the production, you kidding? Their concentrating on a little series of films set long ago in a Galaxy far far away  . I believe there are 5 so far? :D

  8. Tech TV has a few good shows. X-play is good. Its better now with Morgan on it. Adam is a dork. I'm surprised Man Faye isn't on that show since Morgan is the anime fan. They have some anime convention coverage on

    Huhh Huhh Huhh.... Morgan. :p

Priceless when she mentions an Arc the Lad cut scene as a Douche commercial.

It seems like Adam drinks too much Rockstar.

  9. I agree it'd be like a train wreck.

But I can't even watch it, because of @#$%&*Comcast!!!!!

I so wish we got TechTV in the District.

    (sigh)

It's has a good mix of shows from Disc. Channel-esque docs, live call-in CPU help, Robotwars, product reviews and Anime.

The only show's I like are Unscrewed /w Martin Sargent, X-play (It kicks G4's Judgement Day w/ Tommy Tallarico & Victor Lucas' ASS) and a little bit of Anime Unleashed.

    Demand your TechTV damnit!!!!!! :D

  10. Sonic X is the best Anime fare right now IMHO. It has the juvenile humor I liked when the old TMNT toon was on the air. I saw an episode today where Sonic gives the index finger to the eye to Eggman and you'd think they'd cut that out on air but it was brilliant to keep it! Props to whoever brought it here to the states (4kids? SABAN ?)
