No SDCC for me this year neither . Second best thing is I'm visiting family in Toronto this week; went to Niagra Falls earlier today, Canada's Wonderland tomorrow and Downtown Toronto for Anime swag on Sunday. For those MWer's attending SDCC I h8 you !
Just as the the topic says. In lieu of Comic-con this year I'm visiting my sister up in Toronto for a few days. I'm looking for Revoltech figures only since I'm on a budget and the rest of the budget is for cheap souvenirs for my friends. .
I thinks it's time for a trade-in/credit because the X button on my PSP doesn't feel the same way as the O, Square and Traingle after a long game of GTA:VCS, there's not enough give when you push that particular button.
Maybe the soldiers will reappear and be recruited to a new Special Strike Force Team called GIjoe !<triumph>I keed, I keed</triumph> but one can dream right!?.
I just happened to find this bulletin on myspace today.
IMHO Reign and the original Aeon Flux were good so could this be the hat trick for Peter? Only time and reviews will tell.
edit: I forgot about his contribution to Animatrix which I didn't like.
I happen to find it on Utube.

BTW I'm planning to see it on the weekend and from what I'm hearing it's worth it.
When I was six years old (but didn't know it was anime then) and it was Ken's Henshin "Bird Go" or "Transmute" from Gatchaman/BOTP that got me hooked on the show. That whole summer I woke up at 9am just for BOTP and I don't think I missed an episode that summer too.
I bought Real Gear/Microchange Spyshot 6 at KB's. I really like this figure and managed to fool a few people thinking it was the real deal. Since there on sale @ Tar-Jay I'll have to pick up Speedial tomorrow.
I was born in 1976 and I was only 1 when my parents took my sisters and myself to the Union City Drive-In to see ANH. I don't remember anything from that experience but I just wanted to share. My mom and dad loves the original trilogy but loathes the prequels.
BTW I do remember watching ANH in 1st grade on HBO when it first aired.
