  1. Bro-  you're ruining my afterglow.  It's painful enough I had to finish this Toynami collection - being a completist like prolly a lot of collectors on here -  Then I had to settle for a set that wasn't even in a box, and you're throwing salt in the wound....  I ask you....where's the love?
The last 2 sets I saw on Ebay went for $590+ shipping, and $409 plus shipping.  If you see a set go up, just send the seller an e-mail and offer to buy it outright.  I know it's against Ebay policy, but I just picked up a set of the VF-1S bookends for $250 that way.

I know it's a lot more than the retail price, but when it's the only piece missing from your whole Macross / Robotech collection... you sometimes lose sleep until it's completed.  Damn I need a life!

I Bet it was the listing that ended early and without the box  .

I bet you're right ;) . Sucks not having a box, but when I look at the savings over what others are paying for a set with the box, I couldn't pass it up. Especially when they'll be on my display shelf, and I'd have to find a place to store the box anyway. Still kicking myself for not getting back into the whole Macross scene sooner. I'm spending a lot of dough on stuff I could have gotten much cheaper... like these bookends, and a 1/48 Low Viz <_< .

Yeah I saw these two on Ebay but did not want to pay those price for them. AND I WAS WONDERING WHAT HAPPENED TO THE SET WITHOUT THE BOX :(

    Now I know...You scored dude.

    Anyway, still looking...

  2. If the 1st ed. of the Yamato YF-19 has more problem than the 2nd ed. Why is it that the 1st ed worth more than the 2nd  ? Same for the VF-11B ???

By the way , what is a fair price to get the YF-19 2nd ed. for ?
