Anyone tried putting in 2 or more separate orders with okiniland?
-
Okiniland just shipped my Super Part sets via DHL
-
No update from Okiniland and no response from their ticket query either
-
Waiting for Okiniland to send my TV super parts.

For those of you wondering about NY fulfilling the Roy 1S, someone from my local Macross facebook page just received his from NY. But he belongs to the batch that paid 35k yen before shipping. Not sure if anyone who paid less than 20k yen got theirs from NY
-
I would just pay that $18 and get it shipped. It's still a lot cheaper than what many others are paying now for the currently batch.

As long as the orders are in "preparing for shipment" in Amazon JP, your order is confirmed. There will not be any cancellation from the seller unless you cancel the order yourself before it ships.
Even if the sellers are not Amazon Japan, as long as the orders are fulfilled by Amazon, you can even rest more assured because it is based on stocks on hand.
They are probably taking a while because the whole world is ordering Roy at the same time.

If Bandai allows ordering of 6 pieces per account like Kanazaki, you can be sure the 1D will sell out sooner than you can expect. But if that happens Bandai may just open round 2 of pre-orders to be released 3-6 months later.
Also I foresee online shops marking up the 1D more and even at those prices, it will be quickly sold out once the POs go live.

Shipping is the least concern when you are able to get Roy at retail price without any mark up. At least that's the case for me.
I will be grateful to get Roy from Ami and/or HLJ at their price even if they charge me double than usual for shipping.

Did Okiniland ever open the pre-order for Roy? Or is this the first time we are seeing it pop up there?

You'd think so...
However they played silly buggers with the 31a fiasco, so I'm not holding my breath.
Then they are no different from NY. I have not bought anything from them before except for a recent metal build item. Hoping that goes through smoothly.

One of my pre-orders is with nin-nin. No word from them yet, so I expect they won't fulfill either.
Picked up on Amazon Japan instead, likely will end up a similar price.
Nin nin still has it in stock so I guess they will fulfill for you.

Guess we will have to use nail varnish to coat a layer around the joint to fix it (again)?

It's the BST thread:
Thanks @borgified I’m basing the total price at around 20% less the recent closed average prices on eBay. And the only way I can offer this price is to sell as a bulk to cut down on shipping costs which can be USD60-80 (cutthroat rates) a piece from where I live.
That said, this set would be great for someone who wants to start on the Hi-Metal R Macross series, which seems more or less concluded.

Close to 30% mark up from the price before tax in Japan. AE going the route of NY? No thanks.

Thanks for the advices rendered on the 1A.

Thinking of getting a Kakizaki from Nin Nin. Is this a fair price currently? Thanks in advance for any advice.

hmm. for Amiami once they email you the item and shipping cost for a preorder. If you go log into your account from your computer and then click for it in the "orders awaiting payment". They will then have a list of what other shipping options you can choose for this order along with its pricing . you can then select and pay right there and then if ems is available .
This is for my preorders going to the USA before. (of course right now , shipping to usa would only be DHL.)
I heard there is also a "Surface mail (premium) option for the USA too.
Not for my account though. Whenever I choose to change my shipping method, it always goes back to the customer service to determine the shipping before reverting back to me. Perhaps the costs to the US is more "standard".

Shipping fees from Ami can be irregular at times. A couple of times I opted for EMS but Ami switched to DHL for me as it was cheaper than EMS. Now I opted for DHL but it was so expensive at 4100yen within Asia. Opted to revise to EMS and waiting for their reply on the new rates now.

Envy you guys in the states who can order pbandai stuffs effortlessly and with plenty of stocks to go about. Those of us in Asia outside of Japan struggle to buy any pbandai metal build with 1 sec instant sell out upon PO opening.

Asia outside of Japan instant sell out. Lots of stock available for the US.

Pre orders still open in Japan. Looks like there will be plenty of armor to go around.
