1. a hiku + f/p, a gbp from kev + a stealth with f/p from zilla... and I still haven't transformed either or opened the gbp. I'm sad. I watched a friend transform the hiku + f/p I got him as well as the stealth + f/p I got him and just watching him made me nervous . Just spoilt by die-cast lawn darts I guess . I sooo love how they look and being packaged in fighter I don't need to transform them to display them... unlike those first gen m7 valks. . I just want a 19a box packaged in fighter instead of batroid. I waited for the f/p version to be released so I could just mis-appropriate a box in vain
2. the garage sale is coming. I plan on eliminating many of my doubles and loose items. I'll probably keep my boxed jetfires, strikes, gundam, and 19a's but then again if it's a double in exchange for something I want and don't have yet. I am afraid of all the people trying to buy stuff off me rather than trade me stuff I want though... hence me not offering up a 19a, boxed jetfire, loose sdf-1, matchbox glaugs, taka 1/144's boxed, perfect memory book, spare musha gundam, and all the other stuff I'd only part with in trade for what I don't have yet. Once I finish my list with pics I'm sure there will be a feeding frenzy. Heck... even I don't know what the 10lbs of misc vintage battletech minis I have in tupperware are worth . I figure I'll sort out what I need before I tempt people
3. I've got a taka super in insert by it's lonesome...
4. oh lord... let me think who I fogot about metioning. aaajin for an 11b w f/p for a friend Veritas for much musha goodness and patience Godzilla for a 1/48 stealth with f/p I'm forgetting somebody I'm sure
5. his prices are pretty far out there in my opinion. He's also parting out stuff where-as I am trying to complete stuff. It just feels wrong to me.
6. there is some high end stuff I need I'll update/add later once I can afford it like a boxed seeker but for now I can use the following... 1. taka gbp giftset box [i have both vf and gbp in insert but no box ] 2. bandai strike 1/55 original 1 each, missle cluster and arm armor/arm armor elbow clip 3. 7" phalnx missle bay door hatches [or if you want a boxed matchbox one missing bay doors, either way] I can also use any 1/55 boxes with inserts including reissue, styro inserts for valks or armor by themselves. What I don't need is any more jetfire empty boxes in need of inserts I have at least 6 loose I'd like safely in box and don't expect to get the taka boxes I need so any box that keeps them dust/cat vomit free is cool. 1/55 arms. It seems I'm out. I can probably use any 1/55 part besides legs which I have in abundance thats all I can think of at the moment. Once I do a list I'll know which 1/55's I still need what for and update here. As always I have waaaaay to much crap to trade. I'll hopefully make up a list of all the goodies I don't need and post them here in the next month... before ebay.
7. 402496 http://cgi.ebay.com/Transformers-G2-Laser-...1QQcmdZViewItem is the current one from the seller. wonder how high it will go?
8. and all I need is a beak for my swoop. Oh well... you have a bid
9. actually that\'s the variations I was talking about. Some had the canopy lines and some didn\'t. My matsushiro jetfires have lines on them. You must have the regular jetfires. 402303 I have a Matsuhiro Jetfire without canopy lines. Okay now let\'s pose another question. How many variants are there known to actually exist of Jetfire? Different manufacturers, accessories, paint, etc... 402307 concensus is four main ones. You have the painted wing matsushiro, the stickered wing matsushiro, the bandai with "bandai" in a box where the taka tt is on the inner backplate, and the bandai with "bandai" on the bar on the inner backplate. That is the easiest way to distinguish versions. There were some minor differences between the matsu's and bandai's [mostly head laser cast]. Across all the jetfires there were minor retooling of molds here and there as there were all sorts of variations in detail on the legs, chestplate, backplate, etc on purely cosmetic value. Whe discussed it a bunch somewhere at somepoint with pics. Maybe somebody will remember where and bring up a link.
10. Color match and structurally match. I believe the Taka is going to fit differently, this is seen in the small gap between the chest plate and back plate in fighter mode on Taka Valks. I suppose if you really wanted to test it, remove the chest plate from the Bandai and try and install it on your Taka 402331 done it. Every part is swapable between taka's, bandai's, matsu's, and jetfire. I know as I have some really messed up looking frankenstein valks I've cobbled together out of my parts pile. Joon's parts work for the most part but sometimes parts don't fit smooth. Obviously you can't swap out half or a jetfire nose with a vf nose. Aside from that the only non cosmetic differences are between versions and thats pretty much knowing when you swap a 1j or 1a head with a 1s head you need to swap the neckplate as well. it's always easier to swap whole assemblies ie an entire arm than just an elbow joint. As for a gap between chest and backplate in fighter mode I would suggest adjusting the slide bar the chestplate attaches to or swapping it as well if you have problems
11. you ill want the whole head laser assembly. The sides are press cast on the bar so odds are a single spare will be mounted at a slight angle. I know the 10 or so I tried to merge ended up like that.
12. can you take a picture of the building that can store that many live in a warehouse maybe?
13. I'll have you know it took over 5 years to find that particular pattern antique chamber pot!!!!! I'm serious . My mother had all but one piece of a brithish swallow set [the bird you dirty minded people]... and now I have the whole set stored in my garage because she doesn't have room for it I qualify for way to many of the list
14. my dog loves running from "daddy" when "daddy" is holding a lacrosse stick chasing him around the yard trying to beat the "internationally shipped box" eating dog sensless
15. I wouldnt say MIB means unopened...just that the toy is in mint condition and it comes in a box...MIMB would suggest the box is in perfect condition as well but may have been opened, and MISB would be unopened and still sealed. 401739 sorry... I should have differentiated between misb and mib. you are quite correct cube. Thanks for pointing out my oversight
16. I only have a Hikaru VF-1S v1/48 but dig grab a f/p set and gbp set for it. I also have a stealth with f/p on the way. 2 1/48 and 50+ 1/55's... I'd suggest getting a dixon mpc for those who don't have a mpc yet. Yeah I prefer the bandai re-issues but at $20 a dixon isn't a bad toy. F/P for it aren't that bad so long as you don't go for a max or milla set . All I know is as soon as somebody is willing to trade me a boxed bandai seeker for my max and milla armor sets I am soo trading them
17. yammie count... 1 1/48 1s + gbp set + f/p set 1 1/48 steakth on the way 3 19a 2 21 2 11b w f/p 1 11b non f/p one of the 11b f/p is for a frined once he has enough spare loot but I don't think I will be giving up any of my 19a blue goodness anytime soon
18. dammit... make me go look... most of my breakdown is in the 1/55 revisited thread but here is a recap... 1 1/48 with f/p and gbp + a stealth f/p on the way, yammie 2 hcms 4 jm's 5 1/100 8 mpc's 3 19a yammie 2 21 yammie 2 11b f/p yammie 1 11b yammie 5 boxed jetfires 3 boxed strike 1 chinese super 1 each 1/65 19 and 17 29 non f/p 1/55's safely boxed 1 gbp in styro only 2 1/55 in styro only 17+ loose 1/55's and I still need A few more 1/55's to have them all I am sure I missed a few along the way as I am not willing to go through my tupperware at the moment or clean my "office"
19. why does some fool always want me to count my jetfires??? as long as the wife thinks all 40+ 1/55's are the same one I keep messing with she doesn't notice the additional numbers. that and I am too lazy to count hey!!!! I'm beating godzilla at something on his list . and no... not the 1/48 by a long shot
20. for sure... where are the coupons??? nobody her5e with an in or the desire to hack?
21. mib means mint in box = unopened CIB means complete in box = everything that was mib is still there but has been touched/played with. anything else look closely at the description and bid accordingly. case in point. there is a mib "space fighter" on ebay with a BIN of $129.00, which I might actually pony up at this stage in the game. Unfortunately the sellers "mib" doesnot include decals, missle spruce, or even instructions . I had to pass more than once. [it's been there for a while]. Always read carefully and don't drink and bid
22. how much is a sealed mib one worth anways?
23. some of us have been trying to do this for years. Thats why we were lucky enough to get the reissues we have. Either we need an "in" or somebody willing to get cad/cam scans of the f/p parts and a group of us pay to get our own injection mold made. This to has been discussed before and will not be cheap. Even if scans are free the mold will be many $k. Once made though f/p could be spit out quickly and cheaply. I can buy a k/o g1 cassette tape from the phillipines for $2... how come nobody there is booting 1/55 f/p's? anybody want to give me $10k?
24. praise the word! Chunkey reissues! More of them. Why hasn't bandai taken a clue from yammie and spat out everything under the sun in every color variation and an absurdly high price knowing some fools will pay it? Especially with the remaining f/p type sets. They could sell strike sets without a valk and make a killing before they even worried about the other ones. I can understand reluctance to recreate a seeker armor mold due to cost but they already did reissue super armor and adding a cannon is not that friggin hard!!!!! heck... how many people would buy straight up super armor sets if sold seperately at a fair price? If they made a "red" version with the old style arm armor [ie jetfire] I know I'd personally buy way to friggin many we need an in at bandai... somebody who can whisper good ideas in ears that listen... or pull out a gun and demand satisfaction
