  1. I keep all my boxed toys on bookshelves in a dedicated room. it's only the piles of loose stuff I keep in tupperware I occasionally have to move out to the carport when I need some inside space... like when mom decides to have a family gathering at my house without letting me know that everybody will be staying at my house . Tomorrow is going to be fun . you can buy large cans of desicant at grocery stores and some flower shops. You use it for drying herbs, mushrooms, meat, etc. If you are concerned about moisture you can also use a silica packet and vacume seal it inside tupperware. One it's vacume sealed moisture can't get in. Excessive heat could still be a problem though.
  2. I already have an extra but I noticed the cheap double packs of dixon on ebay. $22 with free shipping I got outbid on for two. If this site offers free shipping I might be tempted... just to have something else to merge with spawn toys
  3. you expect me to keep track of what is in your pile?!?!? As if . I leave ebay feedback as it arrives and then into the pile that used to be my family room it goes. Waaaay to many boxes coming your way this week as the family is coming to visit and I need the floorspace and fold out couch . Oh yeah... no scorcth I could see but maybe as I packing the boxes.
  4. no luck with the sweet girl robot? I was hoping you had found one so you could tell me where and how much
  5. lawn darts chowser style... Item number: 6634890411 http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...mMakeTrack=true
  6. did I nominate Hiriyu for my funky gun 1/100 yet? if not he's a+
  7. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...AMEWN%3AIT&rd=1 Item number: 6063003430 no where near as cool as a $15 cyclone, especially since they are boots. I had to replace the pair of boots I sold for $60 locally though so I thought it was worth it. also... I won this for Deimos a few weeks back... not that great a deal but the seller sent an extra one to make up for a shipping delay and I thought the item was pretty funny. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...AMEWN%3AIT&rd=1 Item number: 6058165944
  8. great... but who's gonna vouch for you oh wait... guess I will LOL. wanna sell any of your taka stuff so you can pay aaajin's bro?
  9. sweeet!... for you at least. just remember to pass along the good karma and watch the wanted posts here I know I wouldn't get half the deals I do if not for all the stuff I give away. this particular one almost warrents a "best deals of all time" thread. I'll trade you my $25 boxed strike for your $15 cyclone
  10. I always thought the hovertank was kinda lame.
  11. I'll keep my eyes open but demios has dibs on all sw stuff I find. I don't think this is one of the ones he's looking for at the moment though so you should be in luck if I'm lucky enough to find one before the scalper do . then again if you find one on ebay for $12 or so you should probably just grab it. IF commander cody is that much of a pain nowadays it's cheaper than the gas I would waste trying to find one
  12. always better off splitting them up when selling. Most people interested probably already have at least one of them and have a hard time getting a spare in a lot. good luck
  13. If you want to see a Milia Taka up close I have one that needs to have its feet replaced. Do you have spare clean takatoku feet with the knowledge of how to replace them? I just need to replace the the part that the toy actually stands on in battloid mode as I bought one MIB from eBay... and I'm sure you know how that goes. If you think you might be able to help let me know and I'll post pics later. 404649[/snapback] just the feet/thrusters themselves? those have been damn near identical throughout the mold transitions with the only change being if washers/spacers were used and the color of the washers. Jetfire feet would work as would any other bandai/taka/matsu mold. Joon's would probably work but would be of inferior quality. As for replacing them... the only hard part is getting the damn landing gear in the right position as you reassemble it... stupid springs. It's not hard so much as time consuming and you usually have to dry fit it, add screws, remove screws, adjust, add screws, remove screws, adjust, etc till you get it right. probably easier for somebody with steadier hands than mine. pm me your addy and I'll send you a set of jetfire legs so you can dismantle them to get the parts you need and you will know what you will need to do as you reverse the processon your taka. The one part I have to many of... vf legs. just send back what you don't use and a trinket of some sort . While I still haven't made my "refurbing a 1/55" web page I believe I have all the pics already on my hard drive for the procedure and I can walk you through it. Not that I have resurected a few 1/55's or anything wait... I mean you can't do a thing and you should give me one of the few 1/55's I still need . Trade maybe
  14. damn... snooze. All I want is some seeker arm attach thingies to experiment with
  15. thats what I was thinking. Doesn't much matter as I didn't win but I like tohope I will get my boxed seeker for around $300. A guy can dream can't he? After all I scored a boxed strike in the condition I need [everything mint but for a valk that was custumed with a bb gun and soldering iron] for $25
  16. and I scolded my wife when she was about to try and pry them out with her fingernails . Then again she did transform one of my officers pods... which I have yet to fix . Figures... 5 1/55's I don't have and one of them is an odd ball. I assume the taka max n milla are just like the other taka's so the only ones I have to wonder about are the matsu 1j and the damn frenchy which I only have parts to. Granted I need closer to ten mib to complete my collection but I have the ve and vt valks loose with resin so at least I'm familiar with the valks themselves. Thanks for the info guys. as always you guys are a wealth of information about vf's . so who's gonna sell me a frenchy boxed
  17. so the chinese bootleg super was closer to the taka molds than the bandai???
  18. I just recieved what was supposedly a loose Bandai 1990 VF-1S. It's in fair condition, but missing the super armor, gunpod, and clear canopy (replaced with a stock amber canopy). I say supposedly as the inner backplate says bandai 1984. Anyways, it's a bandai for sure [if I can't tell by now I should be shot ] and has nice and tight joints, green head visor, no mis-matched or obviously replaced parts. It looks pretty damn near mint in fact. What has me absoluty confounded is the fact that there are no landing gear triggers on it. Not that the landing gear triggers are missing mind you, but that it never had them. It doesn't even have the cutout's in the nose or legs where they should be?!?!? Is this a fluke or some thing or was this how the bandai 1990 super was released? the 1990 super is one of the few remaining 1/55's I don't have boxed [damn me for not buying chowsers just so I could pay rent at the time] so I can't compare. I do know that every other 1/55 I have seen and/or own has at least the cut outs and every boxed taka, joons, bandai, and KO has the landing gear triggers. anybody have a clue? I'll take pics if I need to but it's just like the bandai reissue super but for the date on the backplate and the missing landing gear triggers.
  19. and now none of the links work. Hopefully the item numbers still do. It's a government cover up
  20. said many a woman about a married man
  21. once again some great stuff you wouldn't think they would sell on ebay... you to can glow in the dark http://cgi.ebay.com/TRINITITE-ATOMIC-TEST-...1QQcmdZViewItem Item number: 6633110290 http://cgi.ebay.com/Trinitite-Product-of-F...1QQcmdZViewItem Item number: 6632696307 http://cgi.ebay.com/Weapons-Grade-Radioact...1QQcmdZViewItem http://cgi.ebay.com/FLUORESCENT-AUTUNITE-C...1QQcmdZViewItem links fixed I hope. As for why am I looking for this stuff... dunno. I collect many weird items. From fossils to arrow heads, bronze age spear tips to native masks, scrimshaw to pornagraphic ivory snuff bottles. Old coins to old books. Tools, stereo equipment, legos, precious metals, pretty rocks, lord knows what else. "Shiney Object Syndrome" more or less. Anything and everything pretty much. Somewhere around here I have a piece of the challenger which I really should locate. Last time I saw it it was with my african porcupine quill, bear claws, and my great grandfathers book . At least I haven't managed to misplace my harpoon yet
  22. how many times have you gotten informed "not to do that again" due to MW? "Don't mount stuff on your radar, no your car can't have fast packs, stop beheading the target dummies". me... I work diferent sites and use power tools. I just don't think I could mount a valk on my hammerdrill or cutsaw
  23. damn... was that the small one I hope? If it was the big one I'm soooo jealous.
  24. don't need another sludge but what the heck. I do need a lower beak for my winged sludge though...
