  1. 2024 seems to be the year of kids movies. RIP to my wallet, lol. To save money my wife and I will split taking the kids to certain movies. For example my wife will take the kids to Garfield and I'll take them to Transformers One. We'll probably all go together for certain movies like Inside Out 2.

  2. Few episodes in and I like it, not love though. My wife is meh with her opinion, lol. Neither of us played the game so that may matter?

On a side note I'm cancelling PRIME this year. Outside a few series (namely THE BOYS and INVINCIBLE) their streaming library is kinda weak plus I'm finding better shopping deals locally and with other online retailers.

I still have 2 kids within the targeted demographic for these Sonic movies.....it'll be a $5 matinee for us!  They are goofy fun, so not complaining...

Yeah, but that candy, popcorn and drinks is gonna cost you $50 😱 May take my daughter to it if she really wants to see it.

I'm amazed that Keenan Thompson didn't break, especially all the background actors.

As one YouTuber commented, "Those are some STONE-FACED background actors."

That's because Keenan is a professional! LOL. Seriously, though. Keenan is the only reason I check out SNL via Youtube on Sunday mornings.

  5. My children have been on a Batman kick for the past month. My six year old son just watched LEGO Batman, followed by The Batman and finally TDK via half hour parts before bedtime. My nine year old daughter loves Batman too but prefers the lighter movies, watching LEGO Batman and Batman 1989 this past month.

I'm torn.  I love Godzilla 2016 because of how serious it is, but I love these because of how goofy they are.  Which do I support more???

Do you mean Godzilla 2014? You can watch both and enjoy it tbh. I will say 2014 did have the best VFX and realism however Skull Island was the best balanced in regards to the monster action, VFX, human story + cast, etc in the whole Monsterverse.

I guess I am not that hard-core of a fan if I was not aware of the "Director's Cut" of ALIEN....what's betetr or worse about it?

The Director's Cut includes a few extra scenes such as the Dallas/Brett egg morphing scene. Don't want to spoil it for you if you hadn't seen it yet but you can easily find the scene on Youtube. Worth a watch but kinda messes up the intensifying flow of the original film.

  8. Saw the ALIEN Director's Cut in the theater almost 20 years ago, prefer the og film but recommend seeing ALIEN in the theater at least once in your life.

That being said I feel motivated to re-play ALIEN: Isolation again for the dozenth time.

  9. Well, Just when I thought THE MATRIX franchise was dead... That being said, 25 years after the first I'm up for a new MATRIX film but it must be in new director's hands, which it is, so I have some hope for a new sequel.
