Looks good but have yet to pay to see a Deadpool movie in a theater.

2024 seems to be the year of kids movies. RIP to my wallet, lol. To save money my wife and I will split taking the kids to certain movies. For example my wife will take the kids to Garfield and I'll take them to Transformers One. We'll probably all go together for certain movies like Inside Out 2.
-
Few episodes in and I like it, not love though. My wife is meh with her opinion, lol. Neither of us played the game so that may matter?
On a side note I'm cancelling PRIME this year. Outside a few series (namely THE BOYS and INVINCIBLE) their streaming library is kinda weak plus I'm finding better shopping deals locally and with other online retailers.

Showed the trailer to my young children and they want to see it.
As for the rest of us older fans... we still have TRANSFORMERS 1986 😅

I certainly wasn't expecting a childish comedy. 😒
Hard pass.
We are not the target audience for this movie ☹️I guess we'll be for the live action TRANSFORMERS/GI JOE cross over film??
-
Hmmm, while its not Transformers 1986 epicness it looks like it'll just be a decent family movie. TBH I was expecting more...

I still have 2 kids within the targeted demographic for these Sonic movies.....it'll be a $5 matinee for us! They are goofy fun, so not complaining...
Yeah, but that candy, popcorn and drinks is gonna cost you $50 😱 May take my daughter to it if she really wants to see it.

I'm amazed that Keenan Thompson didn't break, especially all the background actors.
As one YouTuber commented, "Those are some STONE-FACED background actors."
That's because Keenan is a professional! LOL. Seriously, though. Keenan is the only reason I check out SNL via Youtube on Sunday mornings.

Hopefully there will be much more monster action next season.

I'm hoping this isn't some sad 'its all in his head' kind of film as it could damage the JOKER brand. DC/WB needs a reminder that the JOKER is super villain doing super villain stuff and not some pathetic guy in a mental hospital.

My children have been on a Batman kick for the past month. My six year old son just watched LEGO Batman, followed by The Batman and finally TDK via half hour parts before bedtime. My nine year old daughter loves Batman too but prefers the lighter movies, watching LEGO Batman and Batman 1989 this past month.

I'm excited to see the trailer as this is the movie I'm most excited to see this year. It'll be a pure TRANSFORMERS movie (finally!) so I expect it'll be really good!!

Awesome. Looking forward to this when we go to Disneyland this August!

Why so unserious?

Finished the second season finale of TOKYO VICE on Max. Really good and tied up the series well. Doubt there will be a third season though.

I'm torn. I love Godzilla 2016 because of how serious it is, but I love these because of how goofy they are. Which do I support more???
Do you mean Godzilla 2014? You can watch both and enjoy it tbh. I will say 2014 did have the best VFX and realism however Skull Island was the best balanced in regards to the monster action, VFX, human story + cast, etc in the whole Monsterverse.

First father & son movie day with GxK. The film was good and held my six year old son's attention which is a good thing. Godzilla: Minus One would not be for him, lol.
That being said I hope to see more Monsterverse films but ask they improve the story telling.

I guess I am not that hard-core of a fan if I was not aware of the "Director's Cut" of ALIEN....what's betetr or worse about it?
The Director's Cut includes a few extra scenes such as the Dallas/Brett egg morphing scene. Don't want to spoil it for you if you hadn't seen it yet but you can easily find the scene on Youtube. Worth a watch but kinda messes up the intensifying flow of the original film.
-
Saw the ALIEN Director's Cut in the theater almost 20 years ago, prefer the og film but recommend seeing ALIEN in the theater at least once in your life.
That being said I feel motivated to re-play ALIEN: Isolation again for the dozenth time.

Well, Just when I thought THE MATRIX franchise was dead... That being said, 25 years after the first I'm up for a new MATRIX film but it must be in new director's hands, which it is, so I have some hope for a new sequel.

First. Did not recognize Alicia Silverstone 😱
Second. It has bad reviews already 😟

Good knowing that Godzilla is doing great in the box office these past few months. Maybe the STAR WARS and STAR TREK folk will learn from this?? Nah!!! 🤣

I'll remember Louis Gossett Jr. best in ENEMY MINE. Interestingly enough Louis also co-starred with Dennis Quaid in JAWS 3-D.

One more episode left and one of my biggest takeaways is the list of forgotten actors as guest stars in this series. Namely Erik Estrada, Michael Rappaport and Mykelti Williamson.
