thanks so much
by those numbers it wouldn't seem too tiny afterall, especially with accessory parts. -
Ozma/Alto armor goes for around 20k yen on Mandarake. On Yahoo Japan they sell for around 23k yen up.
cool, thanks. Always good to have references when thinking about burning money.

What is a decent price for renewal ozma and the armor at this point? It doesn't seem like we're getting another chance at the armor set. Price gouging is so insane now. Any advice?
EDIT: can someone post a photo of a vf25 next to a 1:48 vf-1 so that I can envision what they look like together? I would really appreciate it. I worry that the 1:48 I have will dwarf the new models too much.

I never knew papercraft could be so detailed. Incredible work!

Thanks! I figured one of the two would work.

What is the best fix for floppy wrists on the articulated 48 hands? Mine were loose right out of the box and the gun just sways in the breeze. Nail polish? Thanks

I owned a few small Robotech/Macross/Exo-Squad items throughout my childhood, but always wanted a Valkyrie - so last year's gift was a Yamato 1:48 Super/Strike Stealth and it is oh so cool.
I've been rewatching all the Macross series and really enjoy the charm and cohesive concepts that flow throughout. I must say each one tempts me to buy more fully-transformable toys, though.
I always wanted to be a pilot, especially a mecha pilot and watching Robotech on Saturday Morning Anime definitely pushed those buttons a lot for me as a child.
I hope to learn how to weather and detail my Valk, as well as attempt to build a large-scale transforming LEGO valk in the next year or so.

Haah.. good point. I mostly read things and whatnot. I only own 1 valk, so I don't have much input
I've learned a lot from MW though ! -
@slick_bricks-I think you can still get in on the order. Check the for sale section.
it says locked...

Why did I just find out about these today? I've been so busy. I wish I could get in on this order-round. When can we expect another sale slot to open up? These are outstanding, no pun intended, and I commend you for your hard work and commitment to the craft!
Great job!
I would actually like to open these up to the LEGO fan community at large, and recommend that you perhaps team up with a vendor for our fan conventions, or attend yourself - these would do GREAT! I make brick-built stands out of technic beams, but these would work wonderfully for displays that we do.

After seeing DyNo collection I manage to track down VF1j stealth

I just got one of these w/super-strike set. It is my first valk and I LOOOVE it, seriously the biggest box ever with the coolest toy! Such a sleek fighter, everything I dreamed of flying as a kid (and still do).
