I hear you there.... Honestly, I can pretty much afford $150 for them, but I just have a hard time justifying spending that kind of money on BOOKENDS.... I mean .... COME ON... I can get a whole set of MPCs for $200 bucks... And then spend the same amount of money to hold the packages together.... pfft.

So what's the story about your loss? Is the shipping company going to reimburse you? Cause that is just bull sh*t if they don't... I had a problem with UPS shipping a Bass guitar amp... It was a cab with four 10" speakers mounted in it... It appears they dropped it... HARD! So hard that the shock of the impact shifted the magnets in the back of all the speakers off center... thereby crushing the voice coils in the speakers redering them useless... UPS refused to pay for the damage citing that the package needed to be packed to withstand a 4 ft drop! WTF!!?? However, it seemed like it was dropped from more like 8 - 10 ft considering it would take quite a force to shift the magnets... bastards. Well, if you are still trying to get the shipping company to take responsibility, keep us updated on your progress... I would be interested to hear their excuse for not trying to compensate you... That's just outrageous.... I mean I can understand the box being a little beat up, or dirty... but not completely annihilated...

Great drawings of the mecha... I'm not to impressed with the random marker lines that make up the shadows and the background though... seems a bit like an after thought.... Still better than I could do though...lol.

I love all things Trek.... I really enjoyed all of the Trek series.... TNG had a rough first season if you remember... DS9 took time to get going in the first season as well.... Enterprise had issues season 1, but Voyager, I thought, was good all the way through... All said and done though, all the series ended up being great IMO... I hope the same rings true for Enterprise... I pretty much missed all of season 2, but this season has really been good. I would love to see Enterprise go the distance... 7 seasons... To wrap up I would have to say that TNG, was just great all around.... Voyager, was very enjoyable, DS9 had the best writing hands down... Especially the dialog... Garek was my favorite character in DS9.... Now Enterprise... still has my interest... Look forward to the finale tonight.

EDIT: I would have to agree with Neova... 1/48 scale to match my valks would be optimum. Bet hey, what ever scale you make them, I would still like to see them finished.

SWEET! I am also VERY curious as to how your computer drawings and the router interact... Would you be willing to share more details? BTW... so this is made out of wood right now? What kind? And are you going to use the carvings to make molds for resin? Sorry for all the questions, but I'm pretty clueless when it comes to this stuff, but I would love to get knowledged.

DO NOT! I REPEAT... DO NOT USE NORTON ANYTHING! Virus scan is a good Norton product, but DO NOT USE THE DISK UTILITIES TO TRY TO RECOVER DATA! Disk Warrior is a MUCH better tool... Honestly though... If the data you lost is that important, then I suggest sending the drive to a professional recovery service... I had a hard drive crash at my office, and I sent the drive to a company called DRIVE SAVERS... It is pretty pricey, BUT, if they can't get the data back, then your attempts with any software on the retail market will fail... They have techniques they use that are not available to the regular consumer. Here is their number: DRIVE SAVERS 400 Bel Mrin Keys Blvd Novato, CA 94949 www.drivesavers.com 800.440.1904 Like I said, the recovery will be a bit expensive depending on the size of the drive... You are probably looking at $1,500 to $2,000 US.... But if the data is that important, then it is COMPLETELY worth the money. Good luck, and I feel for ya. I lost a bunch of personal stuff too... They were not able to recover a lot of my data because the drive was PHYSICALLY damaged. (something mechanical failed in the drive and crashed the heads into the disk) Since yours was only formatted, you should be able to get an almost FULL recovery... Drive Savers has a 95% recovery rate tracked over the last 20 - 25 years... Not bad. EDIT: In the future, you may want to make "disk images" of your drives before you do ANY adjustments or fixes to your system... It's the most efficient way to back up an entire hard drive. You can burn your disk images onto CD. I have learned the hard way as well that it is a VERY good idea to have all of your important data backed up in more than one location... be it another hard drive, external media, CD, DVD, etc.

What are you talking about here? I got all of the VF-1s, and all of the cells including the background... They completed the VF-1 montage... As for the New Gen pilots... I'm sure the same will be true.

When the first 1/48 came out (Hikaru 1A), mine came with two right shoulders too. Kevin hooked me up with a left shoulder and arm from his personal 1A, and I sent him my "extra" left shoulder and arm. So far this is the ONLY problem I've had with the 1/48 line.... Haven't got a Max yet though...

I realize that these things are pretty easy to assemble by just looking at the pictures, but I didn't want to get into it and then get frustrated and stuck because I couldn't understand a necessary symbol... It's been a while since I've been into modeling... I'm looking forward to building these, but at the price for some of them, I wanted to make sure I won't be screwing them up too bad... And here is a pic of a portion of the parts list section for the RX-93 Nu Gundam.... I put a ring around the area I need help with, and grayed the rest of the image.... This looks like the area where they inventory screws, but I don't understand the way they do this. You have 5 rows of symbols with dots and then the number "1" and a symbol at the end... Except in the second to last row where you have a "12" then a symbol, then a "+1" then a symbol.... Please help.

Here is a pic of the "road sign" icons I was talking about.... If someone could help me decipher these I would appreciate it... Some of them are easy to figure out, but some aren't... So if anyone feels like it, please just translate all of them if possible... Thanks!
