  1. I'm very glad to see that the production version of the Alpha made such a great impression... It's pretty damn small, but from what some of you said, it appears to still be a quality production piece... I will keep my preorder. What about the "book" package though?? I thought these were supposed to be green? I'm kinda bummed about the blue... I really liked the green.. Well I'm really looking forward to getting this now... And, as much as I don't want to sound too cheesy here... PLEASE keep buying these Alphas up so Toynami makes a linkable Beta... I emailed them recently about it, and they told me that if Alpha sales are good, then there is a VERY good chance we will see a Beta... However, they said IF it happens, not to expect it for at least another 2 years.
  2. Rob... you AND your wife are wonderful... Thank you so much for all you've done... And as Grayson said... please let us know if you are registered for your baby, I'm sure a lot of us would be happy to help you out for a change.
  3. If you shave off the pegs on the armor, then how do you get it to stay on??
  4. Lonely Soldier Boy - I'm not convinced that what you posted is the answer just yet... They did the same thing with the VF-1s... The 3000 for RT.com came with an animation cell... The difference is that the other 12,000 of each VF-1 variant were not delayed for months after the first 3000... So I'm thinking that the variation may be something else... What I'm really concerned about is that the variation will be some re-tooling to give the Alpha capability to link to an eventual Beta... If this is the case (it's only my speculation of course) then I'm going to cancel my preorder and wait for the later version that has the upgrade....Again, this is only my speculation, and I could be reading too much into this, but it has me thinking.
  5. Wow! That sucker is huge... I guess I may have to get me one of those... Keep the progress pics coming...
  6. I also share Rob's sentiment.... As much as I regret not getting a CatsEye kit, and would really like a project like this to happen.... I think at this point in time it's in poor taste... no offense...

    WAAAAAA!

Try borrowing a digicam from a friend... I think you will probably get a lot of help here, but if we can't see an actual pic of it, it will be most difficult to suggest a repair for you....no matter how well you try to explain it. Sorry to hear about this.... Find a digicam somewhere and get a pic up.
  8. I never really heard too much about the first one.... Is the first one worth playing? Love the cover art on the pic above.
  9. OOOH... Time for a step-by-step on that mod... Very cool.... So are you going to share the technique?
  10. I think he is married Zero... good idea though... Thanks Jesse for the update.
  11. SWEET! CONGRATULATIONS!! Glad to hear the two of you had a healthy baby... Good luck in your parental adventures Graham!
  12. Wow! She looks amazing.... This is the best one by far.... IMHO.
  13. I'll help..... tap....tap....tap....tap..... crap.....tap.....tap....tap..... COME ON!.....tap....tap.....tap..... EDIT: This isn't funny....but, ..... well no, it's just not funny....
  14. I haven't done this to any of my Valks... yet.... but pictures I've seen, when done well, REALLY looks great... I would say, if you are good at it, go for it... I'm going to practice on something other than a Valk first, and then I will probably do this to mine as well...
  15. I had been waiting for someone to offer this as well... s_i_t_h??
  16. So does anyone know how this mod was done?
  17. Man I really like that sucker.... Looks great! I look forward to seeing a painted proto. Stupid question: What scale is this supposed to be?
  18. Is there any agency that records public businesses service and products... like the Better Business Bureau? You could report them to someone like that.... Or maybe you could put out an email campaign to friends and family about them, and have them forward your message to their friends and family to try and gather more people who have had trouble with Chronopost... If you get enough people that would be willing to make a statement as such, then a call to your local media may actually do something... If you could establish a pattern of bad customer service and damaging of merchandise they have shipped... Just a thought....
  19. Very cool! Thanks for following through with all the end data... Interesting indeed.... So we ARE ruled by evil..... s_i_t_h_l_o_r_d !!
  20. No figure!?.... Go figure. That is really STOOPID... Hopefully the "sold separately" figure will have articulation... The color is a little odd too.... My completist nerve is twitching.... I'll see how long I resist. So Exo... What did you find that was better?

    Yammies per user

Mine are all in a closet at the moment, so I don't have an exact count... I'll try from memory... 1/48 : 5 1/72 : 5 1/60 : 14 that may be on the low end.
  22. No, it was a Carvin 410 cab.... I too was surprised that you have to pack to survive a 4 ft drop.... losers... Sumdumgai - I would definitely not remove the toy from the package at this point... I would wait until you know one way or the other what will happen with this situation.... This really sucks for you man.... Well, keep the updates coming... It will be interesting to see how this plays out.
  23. So instead of my VF-4 I will be getting a Dragon?? If that is the case, then.... COOL!

    1/60 Gbp

That's it... I'm getting it... Kevin, you will have my order SOON.
  25. Point 3: I liked that Shran showed up, but you are right, it was a bit too convenient. Great space battle though, as someone else said. And I agree, Shran should have fired on Degra's ship before knowing Archer was aboard. Point 4: ARRG.... Boy, those deflectors sure are handy aren't they? At least they had the drama of almost dying due to the "spacial disruptions" effect on their bodies... But man, the whole deflector thing was a stretch, and you are right... Even Kirk's ship would have had trouble pulling that one off. Point 5: Not too much to say here except that it was WAY too easy.... Writer tunnel vision is a good call there. Point 6: This entire sequence was confusing... And we are going to have to wait until Sep.- Oct./Nov. to find out what the hell.... I can't recall, but wasn't there some sort of time shift when the Enterprise went through the other vortex near the Zindi home world??
