  1. FPSers on consoles suck IMO... There is no substitute for the mouse when it comes to tracking targets... The thumb joysticks just don't cut it... I will probably hope and wait for Halo 2 to come to the PC... LOVED Halo.
  2. That movie was.... AWESOME! It's my favorite Pixar film now for sure. I can't wait to see this one again. "HEY... NO FORCEFIELDS!"
  3. I think that is a very nice touch to your display... The pilots look great next to their mecha... The Macross pilots are a tad large though..
  4. OH MAN!! I can't wait to get this game.... I LOVED both GTAs... I actually "missed" Vice City.... As the credit were rolling and they were showing screen shots of the city, I felt a sadness... That I would never see that city again... It's funny, but true! I'm glad that the few here that are already playing the game are really liking it... Maybe I won't wait for the price to drop a little.
  5. Man Rocco, when are you gonna finish that can of Aquanet from the 80's... last time you used it to start the fire on your BBQ grill... then there was the other time you had the ant problem at your house... It's the jumbo can, and that sucker will just NOT run out! Yes... the BBQ incident was something to remember for sure.... Oh, and did I tell you all that hairspray also removes ink stains from fabric? It really does!
  6. SWEET! another chance to be gay!! Thanks Neova for the mini-review.... But DAMMIT!! I was really hoping the production version would be the lighter blue color... That's what really attracted me to this release in the first place... The color it is looks pretty cool though.... I will have to agree that an 80-ish price would make it worth it.
  7. I wouldn't risk sanding or reaming out the holes to make the pin go in easier.... You could try hairspray.... Hairspray is what I used to use to change the handlebar grips on my motorcycle... The hairspray provides kind of a lubricant when wet, but when it dries it's kind of sticky... So it will help you put the pin back in, and will help hold it in place once dry... I've never tried this on a toy, but it should work.
  8. So they can sell you a 3 figure set of Max most likely Its been known for awhile that it wasn't coming with a figure(although it should for that price). I wonder if one of 3 Max figures in the set will be wearing a dress? He should, they better have a wedding set... let's just hope he's not wearing green panties like millia.... Yeah, no kidding... LOL Well, I hope they do release a Max figure set... DAMN, but then I'll have to get the Millia set too... I've know that the Max Q didn't come with a pilot.... I was just reiterating my frustration with said fact...
  9. No figure.... I can't believe it doesn't come with a pilot.... Why go through the trouble of detailing the cockpit and have no pilot to put in it... ARRG! I still kinda want one though.
  10. WOW!!! I can't really add anything original except WOW!! How does a model kit get so much articulation?? Is there some custom work done to the joints?
  11. I believe you are thinking of the "Civilization Types" chart of sorts. Basically it says there are 4 types of intelligent civilizations based upon each civilization types ability to control certain levels of energy. Here's some more specific info: Type 1, 2, & 3 Civilizations A Type I civilization would be able to manipulate truly planetary energies. They might, for example, control or modify their weather. They would have the power to manipulate planetary phenomena, such as hurricanes, which can release the energy of hundreds of hydrogen bombs. Perhaps volcanoes or even earthquakes may be altered by such a civilization. A Type II civilization may resemble the Federation of Planets seen on the TV program Star Trek (which is capable of igniting stars and has colonized a tiny fraction of the near-by stars in the galaxy). A Type II civilization might be able to manipulate the power of solar flares. A Type III civilization may resemble the Borg, or perhaps the Empire found in the Star Wars saga. They have colonized the galaxy itself, extracting energy from hundreds of billions of stars. By contrast, we are a Type 0 civilization, which extracts its energy from dead plants (oil and coal). Growing at the average rate of about 3% per year, however, one may calculate that our own civilization may attain Type I status in about 100-200 years, Type II status in a few thousand years, and Type III status in about 100,000 to a million years. These time scales are insignificant when compared with the universe itself. On this scale, one may now rank the different propulsion systems available to different types of civilizations: Type 0 Chemical rockets Ionic engines Fission power EM propulsion (rail guns) Type I Ram-jet fusion engines Photonic drive Type II Antimatter drive Von Neumann nano probes Type III Planck energy propulsion Judging by this scale, we are still a Type 0/Type 1 Civilization.... I would say in order to manufacture and utilize Antimatter type power sources with any level of efficiency, we are looking about 100 years into the future, maybe more, and very unlikely less time than that, but remotely possible.
  12. I would love to see great advances in antimatter research... Unfortunately, the use of antimatter as a weapon is far more likely to occur before an antimatter space ship... I just hope that after the weapon is created, that we don't blow each other up before we finish the space ship... And as for the time line... I think that we will see an antimatter weapon in our life time... What ever happened to nuclear FUSION??
  13. I can answer question one... Simply, when the first few variations of the 1/60 line were released, they just didn't make pilots for them for whatever reason... I don't really know if they didn't think it was important? I know that there was a lot of discussion and ranting here about this, and fortunately the subsequent releases came with pilots.
  14. Damn Armor! That's sweet! That thing is HUGE! You're my Gundam hero.
  15. I've been watching this progression for a bit now.... REALLY COOL! Man that's a lot of work, but so far VERY worth the effort.... Great job! Look forward to seeing the finished product.
  16. Pretty sweet job there Godzilla... I like that scheme as well... I may have to get me an extra VF-1A to do one myself... Oh, and I can attest to the value of the Blue Scotch tape... That stuff rules... Masking just plain sucks anyway, but the blue tape does make life a little easier.
  17. HOLY CRAP!! That is really cool.... I would also like to see a B-Wing... My favorite... And what about the Millenium Falcon?
  18. Got my Dragon in the mail yesterday! Thanks Jesse!!
  19. I pushed the wrong button.... I wanted to vote for the VF-9!! Why 1/72 scale? Just easier to work with? 1/60 scale would be really sweet...
  20. LOL! I'm Stewie... and I didn't lie... All of you will be my minions... UNLESS I KILL YOU FIRST!!!
  21. Personally, I think it's ridiculous that you have to pay a subscription to play a game online... I can understand, like someone else said, paying for access to the online arena of games, but then you have to pay an extra fee per game?! That's lame... Especially when people have been playing online games for years for free on the PC (minus ISP fees). I look at it this way... I have SO many bills per month, and now I'm asked to add another one to play a game?? Is it cheaper than going to the arcade used to be? I used to be able to play a game for an hour or so on $.50.... How does this compare? So here is the bill breakdown for the month: Electric Water Phone (land line) Cell Phone Cable Car Insurance Mortgage (that's a big one) Credit card (gotta buy toys ) Internet Access Food Gas Home owners insurance Line of Credit Loan Home Depot Look at all this CRAP!! SHEESH... And now if I want XM-Radio... another $12 a month... I want to play online games.... another what? $10, $15, $20 a month?! Wow... I went off on a rant.... sorry.
  22. I was about to comment on the chair too! I've been looking for one of those... Where did you get that chair!!?? Oh, and to stay on topic... I think it's great that you have such a good attitude about your boy breaking a few valks to get the hang of transforming them.... that's just awesome... NOW... Where did you get that chair?!
  23. Anasazi - That's really cool of you to do.. THANKS! Jesse - Take your time man... at least we know that you will actually send the kits at least within a couple weeks... LOL!
  24. I really liked Voltron... I also thought the Matchbox version of the toy was really sweet at the time... But this version looks pretty good... I'll get it... Just to have Voltron in my collection.... sweeeet...
