  1. I've been looking at uploading all of the 3d files for the adapters to shapeways. Still no good solution for acrylic, though. I appreciate everyone's support. This was a hobby that got real big real fast. I have had to really buckle down at my day job this past year.

Ideally I could find a service that lasers, print, and dropships it all just to keep it going. 9mm slotted acrylic is an issue for places. Bending the acrylic as well.

  2. Thanks, everyone. Also, to note, it is taking much longer to receive items from the vendors I use. I do all of my own 3d printing, but the silicone feet, hardware, rubber washers, and shipping supplies are all ordered in. The biggest holdup has always been the acrylic. I have been working with a company in California since the beginning, and they have always treated me well with revisions, updates, and dialing in tolerances. Getting acrylic from them historically takes 2-4 weeks. The current situation has been extending that unpredictability.

Everyone's patience is greatly appreciated. If you have a current order through the webstore it will be fulfilled asap. If you want to order anything new, please pm me and I will let you know what stock/wait may look like based on a best guess for ordering anything I'm missing.

  3. I don't know when it will be back up. I am printing, and shipping out the backlog of orders that have already gone through. Big Cartel has made some changes, and it hasn't been a priority for me to rework the site to be compatible at the moment as I am spending my time keeping my day job afloat. If anyone is itching to order anything, or need assistance with anything YetiStand, please send me a PM and I will help you out with ordering without the webstore.

    Thanks everyone, and stay safe.

    @ChaoticYeti  or anyone:

Trying recreate this pose with Yeti stand alpha. Would I need an extension arm or are the two provided sufficient? Also trying to have it look the cleanest as well.

The shelf dimensions are 14" deep and 12" high. Spiderman is 11" (1/6 figure) but will be posed like the photograph along with extra legs out too. I dont want Spiderman sitting too far back on the shelf.

I'm asking bc the extension arms are 11 a piece and I'll need 3 (3 stands). Plus shipping is 14.50 so I'm trying to get this in one shot. This will be a 224.50 order so if I could save 30 that would be great.

    Ideas?

Shoot me a PM. I have an idea of how to make this work for you.

The fitment is good, great job on it!  I'll send you an email when I get home to night with more pics to get your thoughts on a suggestion I have.

Awesome! Pretty fun to come out close starting out blind. Thanks for your help!

Any updates on this project? Thanks!

He's got a package on its way to him, and I'm sure he'll update me with fitment. Hopefully works out of the box, but I can modify as necessary.

@ChaoticYeti this is what I had you make me those 45's for. So I could angle both of them 45deg. I think that;s going to turn out sweet.

For sure! More elbows are already on the way. Gonna prep a 45° block for consistency.

This is my YetiStand setup.  I like to double elbow for various reasons.

Double elbow is pretty fun. Acts a bit like a universal joint.

  9. Macross figures are starting to price me out of collecting them, honestly. I have not gotten a chance to play around with the armor packs, and am not considering getting the updated 51's at the moment. Can you send me some pics of what the armor packs come with and what their issue is? I do think the 51's will use the same style peg adapter ported pieces that yamato did. If not, I am more than willing to come with something for them.

Thanks guys. I have no problem waiting and know that the stands take time (his site does does say 2-4 weeks) It’s just when I send questions, NOT about when will my order be ready, and get radio silence, that’s when I worry. A little communication goes a long way.

    Chris

Hey! I apologize if I missed your email. Can you pm me on this site with your question?

Mini disaster has struck and I need some help. The stand adapter for my Metal build Aile Strike just broke. (tab snapped off, why was this piece made clear plastic?). I'm not sure how familiar you are with Metal build stands but I was hoping you could help me out with a printed replacement.

    Post pics.

Don't get me wrong. I love yetis.

Is just that for this particular base, I would rather have just an adaptor for gerwalk and battroid that would fit the original "arm"

So, just a 3d printed arm with a tab at the end?

Since it's different than the regular yeti stands, I would prefer no screws. Something like just an adaptor.

Can you explain? What do you mean, no screws?

The bar has been raised. Looks good! Although the banking feature the stand was made for is lost without more parts.

You could put a banking adapter on top, instead of the standing one. What would you guys want bundled together with the base pivot adapter?

@ChaoticYeti - Looks like the side tabs are 1cm long on the VF-1J DX stands. Is that the same as the SV-262 standing and banking adapters? If so, I plan to put in an order to give it a try.

That sounds about right, but I can double check and get back to you. Thanks for measuring.
