If you aren't real sure use a pencil and not seal it. You should use a pencil anyway it just is better than a black marker.

I want them both but the cost and coming in cosecutive months is what will kill me. As of right now no, maybe 1, and a stretch for both.

I can't afford a 1/48 in Mar then another in Apr for 200 each I may have to pick which one I want more or pass on both.

I bought one of those 1/48 Tomcats that is the Sundowners squad but I made it into a Jolly Rogers.

IMO if youa re not going to open a toy you shouldn't buy it. You can only really appreciate the 1/488 when it is open and transformed back and forth in all it's glory. Are you missing out? If you aren't opening and enjoying your toys then absolutely.

I finally got hte guts to take apart my 1/48 and made the Max TV 1A that Yamato should make but for some reason no one wants to make this Valk. That is just awesome. I wish Yamato would do another LE valk but this one be the one made.

For me it didn't make me dislike the 1/60's but it did make me decide to get rid of my 1/60's in favor of the 1/48's. I just couldn't keep up buying both lines, and keeping the 1/60's around would just push me to buy more as they are released.

1/48 VF-1S

After the Northridge EQ I looked at my wife and said if that wasn' t the big one we are moving. I am now in Colorado and enjoying a nice EQ fee exsistance. Yes they have them here but you don't feel them.

As light as it may seem it is a very durrable toy. I have transformed mine many times with no problems at all. Some have had problems wtht eh backpack but I guess I have been lucky and have had no problems with anyof my 1/48's. These are truely the best toys.

If you only collect Macross your lucky. My big 3 are Macross, Star Wars and Simpsons. I also collect Muppets, MOTU, some McFarlane sports and some other figures I come across I think are made well and look good. She is pretty understanding becasue I don't drink smoke and I am not into cars at all. I have my collecting and hockey. So as long as we aren't broke and I ask for money for something I really don't get a fuss from her.

Right now I am making a TV Max 1A. I bought the first 1A only because I love the 1/48's but I don't care for the DYRL scemes. Now that I have my 1S 1J I need ol Max but no one will make that version. So I will.

I'll put mine in fighter mode and fly it around a little then I keep them in Battroid on a shelf.

Huh? What about Voltron. I wish someone would give proper recognition to the Valk that was involved in one of the best scenes in the Macross series. Max's fight with Millia was awesome and this is the Valk you see Max in the most yet it is passed on over and over again.

What did you use to strip the paint. To strip mine i ended up sanding it. I was hoping to avoid having to do that.

Didn't someone have pics of all the Valks with various scemes. I need to see the Max TV 1A sceme.

That is beautiful bird you go there. I don't have the guts to toally take mine apart and paint it all from scratch. I will be done with my custom this week but it will look like a MPC next to your beauty. Well I don't think anything can look that bad. But it will not be nearly as good. Again fantastic work

Hey Jung great job. Do you have any spots that rub when transforming. I am about to do a custom but I am trying to figure out what to do with areas that may rub or chip durring transformation.
