Yep I have been wanting 12" figures for a while. I am not sure about the Toynami Hikaru it look s ok but something seems very off about the head sculpt. I even saw the convention 12" figures on here the also look good but aren't as good as I expected to see. Maybe it's just hard to translate a cartoon into a 3d sculpt.

I haven;t been on the boards much but recently got back on when I saw Yamato was coming out with the 19. I see Yamato has made the stealth 1/48 and a low vis again. Now there is an Angle Bird in the works. Has Yamto released a TV Max 1A yet. That is by far my favorite jet next to the Skull and it is never made. Has there been any other announcements or 1/48's I ahve missed.

I want 3-4 if possible

3 aluminum spun sabers made by a guy I got them from a long time ago. Luek Jedi Obi ANH and a Luke ESB I made myself from parts used like the movie version.

I hope the CF comes with these hands

I have not been on the boards much since the 1/48 had stopped being turned out. I saw a copy made of the 1S head and with the CF coming out I would love to make a 1J CF. Is anyone working on this? Also are there copies of the TV version hands anyone is selling I could use some.

Oh Yah will they be painted or can we pay extra for a paint job. While I can make 1/6 scale costumes painting is not my thing especially human faces

When the 1/48's are in fighter mode are all the cut outs for the heads to move up into the body the same or are they cut specific for each head and fighter. Basically is it possible for the 1J head to fit onto a 1A body and transform without any problem.

IMO Hikaru looks better than Roy. It seems the scultpor made them look more realistic than Anime.

I am interested in a copy of the head helmet and everything else. For Max and Roy too since you mentioned those.

Well actually any picture from E3 would be considered a spoiler. If it is something you see from the next movie it is a spoiler becuase you are seeing it before the movie itself. So basically this whole thread is a spoiler.

I have cut down my collection considerably. I now only collect besides the Yamato 1/48, I have a bunch of the Muppets line and the biggest part of my collection is now 12" Star Wars figures. I do collect various 12" figures that I like. Liek the X-Files figures that are coming out soon.

I have concentrated my figure collecting to 12" figures and mainly customize them. Anyway I thought I read somewhere someone was making a 12" Colonial Marine. I like his past films better even Unbreakable. I think he is trying to write in a twist for the sake of writing in a twist. I think he missed on this one.

Sorry my internet is out at home and i only have it at work. In response to LOTR telling everyone they are making both sets still makes the hard core fans who wish to watch it over and over to buy the first and the second for the new material. Why couldn't it be done for the first release. As far as current films like LOTR wanting to go back and add stuff there is a huge differnce. LOTR had the technology to do excatly what they wanted. SW is over 20 years old and wasn't given a huge budget to work with so things couldn't be done like they wanted at the time. As one said so why make it? Would you turn down the chance to make a film you wanted. Now don't get me wrong the Greedo thing kills me Luke screaming as he falls down the pit bothers me but everything else isn't that bad. One of my favorite scenes now is in ANH when the X-wings are flying into battle and you see them all in formation that is great. I will have to see when the new changes are done and in the story to really see how I feel. But for the most part I am just glad to see them updated and not forgotten about.

It is all about his vision. If he wanted to milk the franchise for all it is worth You would have seen the origionals and the SE already on DVD, then this updated version. Then as we all know when E3 comes out we will see the big Saga package of all 6 movies together. So tell me who is milking their franchise more SW who has held off putting out DVD's until they feel they are the way they want or say a LOTR that releases a DVD and months later another one with added footage just to get people to buy 2 sets. So how many film makers have put their own money into restoring and updating a movie so it is the way they want. And as I said againt what many want because it is his vision and take the chance of losing money. Can you name 1.

I think it's great what he has done. Whether you like it or not it is his vision of what the films should be. He is really showing how much he really cares about these films that pissing people off doesn't bother him as long as what he wants to see is in the films is completed. I mean he could have just put out a bad quality DVD set just a copy of the LD a long time ago just to cash in and he didn't because in his eyes it is not complete and as I said whether you like it or not he should be commended for sticking to his guns and truely making the films the way he wants them. How many other film makers have shown this much commitment to their films.

In another thread I said I would n't make the costume spandex, but thiking about it more I think I would. Maybe a little padded but I think if done right it would be the best way to make it and with the yellow pouches not a sleek belt.
