  2. Check out this review of the GFF-13 here http://www.fantoysia.com/toy/gff_dstrikegst.htm

FOr personal opinion, it depends if you wish a toy or something cool to display, if you like playing around with your toys go for the 1/48, you can't get a better toy, but if you whant a unique bad ass piece to show off, then I would go with the GFF-13 Deep Striker

Choice is up to you, have fun with any of them and don't regret your choice, they are both really cool

  3. I nulled my vote, cuz I wouldn't buy any CF VF-1, I'm buying the GPB in 1/60 because it's something else than what Yamato throws at us, and after I'm waiting for something other than a VF-1

Different? Another VF-1J? Not that it isn't an attractive item, but I think I'll pass in the hopes that they eventually release one in 1/48.

Of course it's different, minus the 1J I give you that, but, it's different cuz it comes with a bad ass armor unlike any other made by Yamato. A 1/48 would really AWSOME but I am not a Gillionnaire ;) so I won't be able to afford it  so 1/60 rules :unsure::D

whoooo typing is so hard

  4. Personally, I would not have liked to have been a Destroid Pliot during Space War 1. Life expectancy was probably measured in seconds, not minutes

I would have wanted to be a Monster pilot or gunner, I don't remember any of them get destroyed

Isn't the VB-6 in service in 2040????? That would be an effective ground unit

I've just been rewatching my AnimEigo box set and although I don't remember which episode it is in, I'm sure there is an episode somewhere in the first half of the series, where you do see a Monster being destroyed.

Can anybody help out which ep it is?

    Graham

    Episode 8 "Longest Birthday".

Kamjin's squadron conducts an assault upon the SDF-1. All the onboard destroids are deployed to defend the ship. The destroids fire out at the Regults, but are very ineffective. In the retalitory strike, you can clearly see the top half of a Monster getting hit by Regult weapons fire. While we don't know for sure the Monster was destroyed (it looks like it's right hand side arm was blown of and the ensuing explosion destroyed or damaged the four top mounted cannons), it was certainly heavily damaged and was definitely disabled at best.

Ure right, just watched it, you can see lather on in that episode Kamjin next to it, it seems like it survived, althought it was badly damaged for sure, well it still gives it's crew a chance to survive, unlike other destroids
