    Scale Pref.

dear God man... thats almost $2,000.00 in toys if you consider shipping and tax.. either your real rich or real.. nevermind.
  2. whats this thread your talking about? i'd like to check it out. thanks
  3. yeah thats around what i payed for mine MIB in the early '90s.
  4. If you're good with a Sharpie that's not too much of a problem, I was able to put a nice blue tint on mine. Knives and my fingers don't mix... I was lucky enough to score a nearly perfect Bandai Ingram battery-operated toy a few weeks ago. I like it, though I'm still wondering whether to apply the decals - it looks a little plain without them. Also, compared to modern toys, its about as poseable as a brick, but it has a certain presence about it... how much you pay for it? and man, those LEDs are TOO COOL. i'm also a big fan of the manga. i think its VIZ comics that sell the little graphic novels. they only put out like 2 books that i've seen. i want more!
  5. double post... how fruity.. anyways i was also wondering how the Bandai HCM VF's hold up against the 1/55's. i imagine they are a little more fragile and i know they're lots more $$. what do you guys think about them.
  6. interesting. i'm just hungry for more diecast transforming mecha. maybe i should just pick up the MP Optimus Prime.
  7. niice, i can't wait for my valk to arrive. i think those bandai's are great. like i've heard so many times on this forum before, they are the essence of the original valk design. they were the first toy that came out and they're shoji approved. 20 years of history and they are still the same design they've always been. thats what i call a classic.
  8. valk1j, i know man... it was before i got back into macross and knew any better, basically they called me when i was in school and said they'd sold that "red and white" robot and my big "patlabor robot with the lights and sound". suxxxx
  9. righteous.. just did a "buy it now" on a 1/55 VF-1S fer $55.00
  10. After a 2 year hiatus i am balls deep in Macross collecting again, my wallet is due for a diet and now am ready to buy some new toys. However i have a few questions: 1. When is the yammie VF-0 coming out? with my limited budget should i hold out for a winter release? or is this thing still in the distant, distant future? 2. 1/55 Re-Issue.... ok, i don't have one yet. I had a jetfire w/ the macross logos that was sold at a garage sale by my parents about 5 years ago I haven't been able to find a detailed review of the re-issues, are there any improvements from the originals? are the tail fin skull n' bone printed? thats it, thanks.
  11. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...5924596579&rd=1 just curious.. its a yammie and it transforms. kinda old news i know but just curious.
  12. i've worked in the east before making sneakers and the probability of someone finding these shoes for sale is really low. a lot of these "limited" colors you see for sale are fake nikes they made in really small batches. like those Louis Vuitton airforce ones.. they make everything fake out there, particularly in Taiwan because they don't have very strict copyright laws. you can get any kind of shoe in any color out there, like Gucci jordans and stuff like that. to get an idea check out this website: http://www.platinumkicks.com/
  13. wow, that Thunder Hummer is really sweet. i love it when valks get a "real world" paint treatment like the Low Vis.
  14. that rulez.. i like it when people get all crazy and make detailed technical drawings of stuff like that.
  15. atleast if you get the valk stand you'll be getting something "made in japan". not as many qc issues
  16. wow, that SV-51 looks really nice.
  17. that swat ingram is awesome. whats the second sd ingram in that pic? can't remember..
  18. i used to have the battery operated ingram. got sold at a yard sale couple years ago tho, along w/ my jetfire
  19. hey- i got one of those diplomas on my wall. UA Dec. '01
  20. very kewl.. so practical for space fighting
