1:48 and 1:72 would be available soon after this one
Most excellent!
-
Any plans for 1/72?
-
This looks great!
-
Thanks. Lovely.

Finally finished all the painting on the VF-1X-S! Only 5 more to go, plus 6 bases! The others should go a lot faster. Even for a small kit (1/144 scale) this one has a lot of bits to do.
Which kit is that? It's looking great.
-
1/72! Excellent.
Maybe throw in a TV VF-1A head so that we can do a Mav v. Millia using the Hasegawa kit?
-
My 'Max/Miria' kit turned up yesterday. Very nicely done.
Now I just have to find an easy way of converting the DYRL? -1S into a SDFM -1S (super, not strike) and getting the right SDFM pilot figure.
-
Want the tank - did they make a kit of the APC?
-
Wow. No, really, wow. Sweet build, excellent finish.
-
Just saw it. Very well done.
-
Don't forget your seat belts, too:
-
Wow! That looks great.
Must admit, forgot what section of the boards I was in & got very excited that Hasegawa were releasing a -1D. Oops.
Great job.
-
That Speeder Bike looks great! Hopefully Bandai will release a 'standing, looking baffled' Scout Trooper separately as well.
-
Looks like both. In the unboxing photos, there's two lots of identical markings shown. One set has the black metallic masks on top, the other doesn't. Seems like there are both.
-
Grabbed it.
Couldn't make out the type of batteries required from the instructions at Hobby Search:

Any ideas?

A -1D would be sweet. They could probably even squeeze a VT-1 & an ELINT out without too much trouble.
Still hoping for one in 1/48.
-
Sweet subject! Looks amazing.
-
Glad I'm not the only one that noticed that...
I did double check though, and that IS the wing sound from the special edition.

Ah, so it is. I was hoping that with the Disney acquisition, the Orwellian 'retruthing' of the original trilogy would be undone as well.
-
I hope so. Though the wing open/close sound isn't what I remember from the film. #firstsworldproblems
-
Wish I'd seen the 'moving edition' before the order stop hammer came down.
-
Agreed - very nice. (& I don't like the DYRL? version much)
-
Ah - thanks

Fair enough. My recollection is that Bretai jumped from outside the ship to land on Kakizaki, making that compartment open to space?
Regardless, would Hikaru have required a parachute if he hadn't been caught by Bretai?
-
Hmm. Maybe. I thought that compartment was open to space?
