Thanks for the details, guys.
Shame they didn't use the 'latest' F-14 model as the CGI model.

I'm looking at using the new Fine Molds F-14D as Shin's aircraft from Macross Zero. From what I can find, the M0 F-14++ can be replicated by a F-14D.
Thoughts?

Looking at that episode review (thanks for the link - didn't realise just how much I'd forgotten!), there needs to be space for two of the dropship/tanks and a medical ship! Maybe the Seagull takes the place of the latter?
Either way, the dropship was my favourite small ship of either series. I'd really like to see the 2201 take on it.

That's the one! Thanks for finding it. It's a sidebar demonstration of Max's consummate flying skill - in the middle of the fight of his life, manoeuvring in-atmosphere, and he manages to use the head as a directional turret. And scores hits on the target!
Shame it was with a 'S' head.

Firstly, Hi all. First time poster here.
One thing I wanted to clarify on a recent discussion was this one about the Stork's origins:
It's actually a redesign of the craft we see Kodai and his team use to assault the reflex gun base on Pluto in Episode 8 of the original series (scroll down to the fourth row of images).
As a side note, I'd love for them to put out a 1/72 Stork kit.
Welcome!
That's good news on the Stork's providence. Gives me hope for the inter-atmospheric assault transport for 2201.

The detailing is superb. Two Thumbs up so far.
Only two thumbs up?

Isn't there a scene in either the SDFM or DRYL? Max vs. Milia slugfest when Max, in fighter mode, uses the head as a ventral turret to fire a few shots at her N-G?
Wonder if the model could be posed as such?
-
If the standing soldier is included, book me up.

That was the first thing I thought of when I was watching it (& was disappointed). Hopefully there's enough to differentiate this one: IIRC, the original carried a squad or so of marines. We pretty much did in Ark of the Stars. It was called the White Stork.

Not to be impatient, but is it 'shortly after Wonderfest' yet?
-
Both.
Standard unit color on the left, Milia's on the right.
Thanks for the clarification.

Ack. With the SpectreDR, how do you know it is a clone?

Clones?

Wave 1/100 VF- 1A Max special

Wow - what brand/colour did you use for the blue? It looks great!
-
.
And, at first viewing of the TV paint scheme, it seems uniform enough to make it hard to tell on Meltran from another (commander or general solider).

Which of these is the TV Q-Rau?

I've discovered a new love for the VF-1A ! Great work.
Always loved the -1A head: this one is (DYRL?) perfect.
Wish there was a SDFM -1A head available.

I'm looking forward to seeing season two on Netflix. I'd love to have a model of the robots to build and paint.
Like this one?

Binged on season 1 yesterday. Some very interesting concepts explored. Bring on season 2.
-
Same for 1/72....
Thanks.
-
Got my shipping notice just now for the second movie.

Great news on the 1/72.
-
Most excellent - thanks!

Any chance those HMM could be done in 1/72?
