Here explain CVS-101 Prometheus.
On a plate of wood I made the ship body with cardboard.
As for curved surfaces, I used wall repairing putty bought at a DIY store. But it was very difficult to make smooth surfaces.
After struggling I used lacquer putty and sanded.
Body and details are made of cardboard, paper, wood and putty.Prometheus and SDF-1 are connected by a metal item. What's the name? For fixing slide doors. It can be released. -

That looks awesome! Great job.
In a few years, when all this 3D printing hits the mass market pricepoint, we should design a printable version of this at about this size. It would be a collaborative effort.
Thank you for your comment.
I'm wondering to add more details by building parts by 3D printing. And the city buildings inside, aircrafts and destroids... dreams never complete.

It's around 190 cm... is it about 6 feet? Human size.
You can put your hand in Daedalus and make Daedalus attack!

Oh MechTech thank you your comment, and I respect your 6 feet Daedalus which is official scale for Nichimo Macross kits. It is a small scale for destroids, battroids and human, but a gigantic scale for spaceships.
