Got a chance to mess around with my new vf-25. This is one sweet looking valk but I have a problem with the left foot not wanting to lock in to place . Anyone else having this problem with it just sliding up and down freely?

Well I took the plunge and ordered me a vf-25 :-)

I'm really liking this DX VF-25 v2

Although I have tested a valk on the stand touching just the plastic, it left greasy circles where the valk rested on the stand.
I do not know what the long term affect of that could be.
I had the same greasy circles on mine where it was resting on the plastic.

Mine were on display like this..... My house has A/C, and besides that it is always COLD and DARK here in Seattle. I never let the sunlight hit it either.
The rest of my Skull Squadron were lucky, but they were stuck pretty good. There are tiny almost clear looking circles on the stabs, it almost looks like grease circles.
Here is an example:
the top most circle.
Man that makes me mad seeing damage like that from a POS silicone tip.

DUDE...that Buh-LOWS!!! I almost threw up after those pictures...still makes me sick to my stomach just thinking about that kind of damage on a V1 Low Vis. I feel for you, man...I really do...
Yeah it sucks but I think I can touch up damage spot some.
-
I used a damp rag with just water to clean the tips off....... Looks like that didn't work out to well for my Low vis.
-
That sucks DyNo, MacrossJunkie. Such beautiful Valk's to be damaged like that. Bandai or Yamato stands from now on!!
Yep I'm done with flexi stands.
-
Time to get this topic going again.
I just pull my low vis off the flexi-stand and found this.
I've only had the low vis sitting on it for 6 months. NOT GOOD!

Takatoku 1/55 VF-1S Valkyrie. My first Macross toy I bought 25 years ago.
And....

I love how there's thousands of dollars worth of macross toys in there and you can describe it as "small".
that's a great looking display
Thanks...
