I think the most I've spent on a toy is $495 USD, shipped. It's used/displayed by the previous owner; Hot Toys DX02 Batman, Sideshow Version without the leaky abs. I hope to resell it and get my money back in a couple of years.

Have you guys heard of Form 1? Engineers from MIT wanted to make their own 3D printer that's affordable versus the $325,000+ printers out there. I am thinking about getting once, but it may be overboard for toy pieces. The good think about this portable printer is that it produces higher resolution pieces. I'd like to get this for my Gundam, EVA and 1/6 scale kit bashes.

I'm posting items that I decided to sell from my small collection; like some members, I'm going through testing times, I hope these figures find good families. I ship USPS Parcel Post. 2) Yamato 1/100 VB-6 Konig Monster, USED/Displayed -- Now on Ebay
Only transformed twice, during opening of the box to battroid and back to valkyrie mode upon packing for this listing. It's been displayed. Please see the photos, I've used tape to add friction on the elbow joints so that they hold up the arm canons. They can be easily be removed. I check all the tabs and they are all intact with no stress marks with the exception of "konig_22.jpg", showing the two hip stubs (next to the 3 black dots/sensors), they seem to show a white stress mark on the base, but they seem to hold up fine. 1) Yamato 1/60 VF-0S 1st Version & 1/60 QF-2200D-A Ghost Drone (sold to talong1138)
Displayed, but in great shape. I tried to take as much photos as possible of the elbow shoulder problem areas. I didn't see any stress marks. Please see photos. Also included is the drone. This is not the special package with the drone. I bought them separately but I was able to make them fit in the VF-0S's box, there is no box for the drone, just the clear plastic. Stickers are unused, and items come with instructions. I believe the items are both complete. The box is pretty good. Thanks for the reminder talon: as for the gunpod grip, the hole is etched out a bit on trying to make it fit the forearm stubs/pegs on valkyrie mode. I think this was one of the gripes from the 1st print. Also, I'd like to inform that this 1st print is loose and not as tight as the newer 1/60 valkyries. Again, please do send me inquiries for further questions regarding photos, and in case I've missed something. That gunpod grip does looks pretty nasty at close-up, but it still looks good once held in battroid mode; I lowered the price to $240 from $250. Photos can be viewed here.

2) $150 - New - Shotaro Kaneda by PROJECT BM/Medicom. Kaneda is new, unopened and box is in excellent shape. I have not found his bike in it's original price, so I'm giving-up Kaneda. He's 12" from the movie AKIRA, fully articulated with real fabric and his famous laser. If you have his bike but not the figure, this will work out fine for your collection.

SOLD 3) $20 - New - VF-1S & VF-1D 1/100 Model Kits by Bandai. These are model kits and you're need glue to put them together. Once completed, they can transform in 3 modes. I just don't have time to make them, and they've been sitting around for a while.

4) $35 - New - Clear Body Parts for Perfect Grade 1/60 00-Gundam-RAISER by Bandai. Not sure why I got this, it cost a lot to ship, lol. I got it through HLJ, but never got to use it. It's new, has all the parts in the bag; the box arrived with no tape, so I opened it to take photos.

I have a 1st issue 1/48 VF-1S Hikaru with stealth fast packs; it's as close as I can get to a 1/55 Bandai VF-1S Strike Valkyrie.
I'd like to know if you guys know, are the reprinted 1/48 VF-1S Hikaru version have tighter joints than the previous reissues? HLJ has it on sale right now, http://www.hlj.com/product/YMT00190
Or would you guys recommend the new v2 1/60 VF-1S?

I bought the 1st issue of 1/6 ED-209 by Hot Toys; it was badass and it was huuuge! But as soon as I put it together, I noticed that it lacked poseability. I sold it asap.
I hope that this REX will have a lot of poseability! I'm in, I just showed my wife and she said that I can make the purchase. LOL.
This will compliment my Shadow Moses Solid Snake.

Thanks bluemax151 and badboy00z. I'll join up 1/6 warrior forums. The head is based on the Ronaldo figure, it's as close as I can get to a young Solid Snake. Everyone today are all in to the MGS2 head scheme. Hideo Kojima envisioned young Solid Snake to have a face like Christopher Walken. Unfortunately the pixelation of MGS couldn't show the face. The 1/6 Konami version had Solid looking like Ben stiller.
Thanks also for the recommendation, I'll create a packet of cigarettes and maybe a smoking version of the head. Yes, this figure does have the MK23 with the silencer and laser pointer.

My coworkers make fun of me, and call my 1/6 scale figures as "dolls" or "man dolls". One in particular is a figure that I was hoping Hot Toys, Medicom or Takara would make; what I would call Young Solid Snake - Shadow Moses Version. So far no word and I've only seen the Old Snake from MGS4. I've been working on this for a while, taking pieces here & there, and I think it's about 80% done without weathering. I still need the "box", claymores, Nikita launcher, ketchup bottle, rope, silken hankerchief, camera, PAN & PAL key cards, and mine detector.
I've inquired about tailoring help from Tactical Tailor but I guess they do not make 1/6 scale clothes for toys, LOL. The funny thing is that I see the logos on Soldier Story boxes. If you guys know of tailors who specializes on 1/6 clothes let me know. I'm looking for materials similar to the Chris Redfield vest.
What do you guys think?

If that is the case, this movie is doomed to fail.
I know you guys and the majority of you super cool peeps always think that comic based movies suck. That's why it's suggested to first check out the comics.
Check out Wanted and Losers also ... movies are coming for these comics.

Hmmm, yeah. I would say, read the comics first before watching this movie so you'll understand where it's coming from. It's pretty true to the comic till 3/4 of the way, but still good.
Just got back from watching with wife and friends. Gonna visit the shooting range soon to do some shootin'!

Hey promethuem5, excellent work on the weathering. Thanks for sharing. Great to see some ZMDC tht's been fixed up for inspiration. Did you use a different black body suit with the HT slim version body? How long did it take you to complete this project? Do you have a matte coating on it?
I'm glad you posted. I have one too as a back burner project, along with my Solid Snake. I'm bummed that Takara, Medicom, Hot Toys nor Sideshow has come up with a young Solid Snake; who I think was best because that 1997 game blew everyone's imagination. I became a fan back then, and still waiting for that 12" figure.
