Wow....I just learned that mine is IN TRANSIT from BBTS...my mom got teh shipping notification a few days ago and I missed it. this is certainly shaping up to be my favorite Macros toy thus far....even tho i just got a YF-19 which I ahve been looking around for for over a year now. I cant wait.
WTF? Mine should be from BBTS too, but I haven't gotten a shipping notice yet. My wife (who ordered it) got a "shipping soon" notice but no shipping notice. Grrrr. Damn you, Joel!

10 Dollars to the first person to put up a pic of their Monster with the eye stickers on it!

This has got to be the most impressive thread ever.
My monster only has one eye...

So how many of you have let your wife/girlfriend/significant other play with your Monster?
Graham
My wife got my monster for Christmas.
(On a serious note it hasn't arrived yet

But what about sunlight? Should we all expose our Monsters, or keep them in the dark?
Graham
I recommend the following regimen: Expose it, then put it in the dark, then expose it, then put it in the dark....

I, for one, look forward to playing with my monster in its semi-erect mode.

No. Leader One was Megatron's minicon(beeyotch).
Bendy Prime had Over-run as his minicon. He almost had me there, but you are correct about Meg's mini being Leader1. Over-run sounds familiar so I will take your word for it. Kudos to you, sir.

Anyone get word from BBTS?

The smaller "Deluxe" carded Armada Prime (sometimes call "bendy-prime" because he was more posable than the larger "Super" variant) did not come with Sparkplug, he came with a little silver jet minicon whose name escapes me. Sparkplug was a yellow car minicon that came with the boxed Super-sized Prime.

You should look into the BinalTech/Alternators (japan/us) series. Real vehicle modes sans garish color schemes. Like G1 on steroids. IMHO, BinalTech is the car answer to Yamato valks.
A friend of mine was just telling me about these as he has been a fan of them himself. Given that right now I've blown all my cash on yamato macross stuff, I like to think of myself as the macross guy and him the transformers guy. If I had enough cash to get it all now, I definately would be buying them. sigh, I'm still playing catch up to other ppls toy collections.. I haven't been following up on new stuff since the 80s you see...

If you can live without the diecast offered in the Japanese BinalTech line, the all-plastic US Alternators line is only $20 at your local Walmart. I've been picking up all of the recolored "clone" items through the Alternators line.

I would love to see a G1 remake. I can't stand the new characters in the all the new series. It just ain't the same. And I just had a look through a toy catalog the other day: man those toys are ugly! I think I was looking at "omega supreme" or something. There were so many bits and pieces hanging off its body and so many garish colours mixed together that it wouldn't look out of place in a macross 7 show.
