  1. I just hope all goes well with the first release of the Ivanov version. It would be lack of better judgement on Yamato's part to release the Nora if any immediate problems arise. But judging from the resin prototype pics it looks highly unlikely. Can't wait to have these two vultures next to my other birds. Simply AWESOME.
  2. Poonman, Have you started working on the kit? Any pics?
  3. Another way to paint those pesky arrows is to brush paint on by using a pointed end toothpick. Use Gundam Marker Blue for color, or try your hand at color matching. Just dip the toothpick as you would a brush, remove excess paint by brushing on paper first, and apply remainder to the arrows. It works like a charm.
  4. Very nice, Electric Indigo. ***Do we really need to have soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo many (x3) pics quoted?
  5. WOW I remember seeing clouds bike before, but was never able to find the site it came from. Thanks for the link, TOM.
  6. Hey Mr March, excellent site. But just a few things: - DYRL Section - VF-1A heads should be Movie type and not TV type. This refers to the VF without FPs. Keep up the great work.
  7. That's pretty cool.
  8. There are several things you must take not of prior to purchasing new screws: 1. Size 2. Finish 3. Head type 4. Thread Pitch The last is very inportant. You don't want to install a screw that will tear away at the plastic when re-screwing. It would cause the parts to become loose. Another solution could be to remove the original screws, clean then with solvent, allow to dry, and paint with rust-inhibitor (semi-gloss black).
  9. Don't be bummed. Turn those into background bits for a diorama.
  10. I hope this is what Yamato has planned for the 25th Anniversary. Just not in the horrid red, white, and blue combination schemes we've seen.
  11. There is no battle when they've already been defeated. Time and time again.
  12. My first toy was a Bandai 1984 VF-1S Strike Hikaru Valyrie Hi-Metal. Funny thing about it was that I purchased it thinking it was a knock off Jetfire. Before, Jetfire ever hit the toy market, I had already removed the armour to make "special chop shop" vehicles for my G.I. Joes. It's sad and funny at the same time. Sad because I totally wrecked an original Strike and funny because I thought someone really screwed up on Jetfire's paint job. Then I realized my huge mistake, when I saw the movie. To this day, I still have some of these original parts lying aroud. Still as G.I. Joe vehicles (Crazy Glue was my best-er-est-est of friends back then). Ever since then, I have been collecting Macross, to my hearts content.
  13. In order to use the model kit gunpod, you would have to thicken the grip. The kit handle is very thin and fragile.
  14. Go over to TOYBOXDX.com and look under the Datafiles. There you will find a button for a bit of Macross history and also pics of all the 1/100 valks T.T. ever made. Oh, and yes, the guns are supposed to come each figure.
  15. They're just actually lyrics. You'll find them at the very bottom of the page...http://www.starfarer.net/captlock.html
  16. I hope your right. I would love to own a SOC Orguss or Drifand Dal.
  17. Now that's an interesting custom of the VF-0A (bottom row, center). An extra set of dorsal fins on the back plate and armaments from the sv-51. I smell a UN traitor...
  18. Nice collection. You're off to a great start.
  19. Looks good to me. For some reason the green on the production version seems a bit more pronounced than the prototype. But just because of that, it won't detour me from being at least one.
  20. WOW!!! Awesome work, Gatsu! I for one favor the heavy panel lining. Now it just needs a bit of weathing to make it perfect.
  21. A bit off topic... This would make a great side story for the Macross series. Destroid Pilots...UN Spacy ('s) unsung heroes.
  22. Knight 26, I like the way you think. Just to begin my daughters first endeavors into the Macross realm I took her on a shopping trip with me to F&S to buy a few sets of 1/48 Fast/Strike Packs. Eventhough she's only four months old I still think she enjoyed the trip. If anyone out there is willing to help, I and others would be so ever greatful!
  23. Congratulations!! 11lbs, 11oz, that's pretty big!!
  24. The plugs are warped?? Were they re-cast this way? You're best canopy for this type would be vacum formed. Clear resin would have to be a bit thick so it could be polished crystal clear, without warping or breaking.
  25. Do you have the small resin plugs needed to re-create the canopy? They were the small plugs located inside the vacuform sheet that came with the Tanmen kit. If you have those, I can help.
