The visor on the prototype was SUBTLE like in the artwork.  In fact, I didn't even see them in the original images until this monstrosity of a change surfaced and I looked back.  The original prototype was just fine and was true to the artwork (which was also so subtle you could barely tell).  Again, I'll hope a 3rd Party company makes a replacement visor for this line.  

Are the Yellow/Lancer and Bartley/Rook included in that artwork book?  Are they substantially different from the anime versions if so?

That visor is pure trash.  It completely ruins the look of the figure and instantly grabs your attention but in a bad way.  Hopefully they include a smooth visor.  Or maybe some 3rd Party Transformers company will make one for under $15 to go with this???

They want $150 for an UNPAINTED 5 inch model???  That's Wonfes garage kit pricing (except it's just black plastic).  Totally nuts IMO.

So, what are the chances that we'll see the Ostrich and Elintseeker that were prototypes way back in like 2008?

And on that note, are there any Ostrich/Elintseeker toys outside of Bandai's original ones and Yamato/Arcadia?  I don't think I've seen news of any Ostrich/Elintseekers being released in Arcadia's current line which makes the ones from a few years back expensive as heck.

Looks cool, but I want a Beta/Tread/Tlead to go with it!  And that price...yikes...

But I do think the smaller of the 2 options you are considering there is the better looking one.  I would also consider using the dome you have on the larger booster on the smaller version, that or a white cone.

I didn't realize that the T-Bars would "fit" the cross shaped technic pieces.

Here's another one...

What is that Technic looking piece that will fit the T-Bars?  All the Technic pieces in the LDD that I see have holes that are much too large.

PS---my vote for the chest guns is also 3938. 

If you open the file I uploaded in LDD, there is an option for a BOM, which lists materials needed.

If anyone wants the LDD I made, I have attached it.

The 3 extra pieces are there just in case they are needed to attach the shield or replace some "shoulder" pieces that MIGHT inhibit transformation a little.  It's very hard to tell in LDD b/c sometimes something isn't really blocked from rotating, but LDD won't let it turn right.  Better safe than sorry when you're talking about $0.10 worth of bricks right???

Okay, I'll give that a shot again. Thanks guys. It really felt like mine was frozen or even glued in there b/c it just wasn't budging.

I'm trying to transform it for the first time and my right wing tab on top is STUCK. I have no clue how to unstick it b/c I can't get a great grip on it and it's TIGHT against the wing. I can barely wedge a fingernail between it and the wing by sliding it along the edge. Any suggestions???

Just the way I see it, if one store sets the standard for customer service and pricing, then it's the job of other stores to strive to meet that as well. That's how free markets work. The best rise above and the companies that can't adept (and copy them basically) will lose out in the long run. I do think it's absolute crap that AmiAmi is adding an 8% sales tax for foreign buyers b/c they are just pocketing extra cash unfairly. And it is exactly 8% over the MSRP at their store. So somebody was dead on about that.
