Just wondering if anyone has played with this toy in-game?

While playing UT 2004 on a VCTF server, i came across a mod that included the Troop Transport, Hurricane Tank, Attack chopper, minigun node runner, and the VF-19.

I'm going to try and find the server address/name for this server.

While playing a round of Vehicle CTF, i came across the VF-19 Excalibur on this are base stage. The map name was something air base. Anyways, they had a actual model of the VF-19 there, pressing the alt-fire button would make the jet go in afterburner mode, complete with a blue engine glow, a brief roar, and the wings folding forward.

Anyone know where i can get this mod at, because this is not a standard UT2K4 map/rules/weapsons.

Watching DYRL for the first time. Blew me away even though I was watching it via sub with iffy video quality...

First time i saw DYRL was with the dubbed vhs one

But the animation and story made up for that.

One time in high school, I played an episode of Macross Plus vol.1 to my computer class, suprisingly the teacher was ok with it, considering the cussing it in.

Also, played some Macross II, and Mac Plus vol.4 in my lit class, no one thought it was something worth watching

no way, the first episode was good. It was the first instance in the Macross universe where Earth had a large standing army of defense cruisers/ships that it was just good. A lot of firsts appeared in that episode, like the somber/heroic idea of the Macross reserved as a monument in culture park, the media coverage in military matters, and all sorts of good topics.

Anyone know why the animation at the end of the movie is so bad compared to the first half of the movie? Silvie looks like a boy, Ishtar was drawn with a Pinocco nose in a scene. Was it budget reasons?

Also, does anyone know what the Nexx does when he takes the Metal Siren into a enemy ship and destroys it with those line thingies that explode the ship like a pimple pickle?

What about this: I always used to hear that Milia/Miriya killed Roy, but I still don't see how this is true.

Source: Fans who don't remember the show that much. Roy was actually shot by squad of Q-Raus.

And ONE of those QRaus was Millia.

From there Milia had to have fired the fatal shot, because only the best zentradi pilot could hit the most-experienced human pilot.

It's silly, of course. Even in TV people don't have an aura that repels bullets shot by someone of lesser skill.

i see where you're getting at. and i've been thinking about what you said, about messing up the real Razgriz squadron image, so i'm working on trying to replace the name with something else instead of Razgriz. Anyone got any ideas, i've been thinking of doing one for this site. Maybe i should of started this thread in the fanworks section you know.

It's something about the position of her head. Maybe if it was rotated so she wasn't looking down and she was moved up more it would look better.

there is only so much that you can do with Photoshop. if anyone knows how to mainpulate 2d images without them leaving open spaces (ie. making her face look straight, but not leaving gaps in her neck), i'll be more then happy to listen to them.

Haha, dont feel bad about buying "Clash of the Boiafidaf whatever it was", i did it also. Ordered it from Right Stuff Animation cause in the description it said a dubbed version, i was young back then so i didn't know. Dang vhs tape had two warped spots, one at the first battle in the movie with the Super Valks launching missiles at battlpods and the other at the end, showing Minmay sing DYRL, grrr wanted to smash my tape!!! Had a ARII Vf-1d battroid, but it's in pieces now, was trying to mod it, but too hard. Then had a bootleg vf-1s that transformed, but since it was a bootleg, or maybe i played with it too much, it broke. gosh, now i'm just saving up for those lordly Yamato toys.

Well for me, it was Macross II the movie, big bro bougt it cause it had Robotech-esque jets on the cover, and the word "Macross" on the back cover. Even if Macross II is not officially part of the Macross storyline, it still holds a special place in my heart. It had a cute charachter, Ishtar and the freckled hot kicking pilot Slyvie. Also it heldd the Macross in a savior status, post war duty, guardian monument, that fired a heck of a beam. I must of worned out my vhs tape watching that moment when the Macross fires its first Macross Cannon, and putting my tv volume at max, too get that pleasure rumbling of it going off. Also it had some memorable charachters like Feff, he was one cool guy of the enemy. And those VF-2SS valkyries, I get mega envy seeing those model kits on e-bay. So what Macross hooked ya?

Any way, here' my take of the Razgriz squadron image. The real image i found was plain looking, wanted her to be more fire hot looking, so here is the new Razgriz maiden. And yes, i took a pic of Valkyrie Lenneth from Valyrie Profile.

Anyone know how to get the cinematic scenes working with this game? I have the sound of the cinematics working but no video.

I know , but i couldn't find any apropiate place to put this at. This is a model, a 1:1 scale model, but not made as a toy from plastic/metal. Can't go into the other fiction thread, not a game or convention, so i stuck it here.

SO anyways, it can't be that hard to build a real SDF, the only exception is the part about it going into space. SSo until we do have a rocket/?? populsion system to carry it into space, why not make it into a one big boat. Have it built in cruiser mode. 2 aircraft carriers on the side for supply and defense. Command center is the same as the SDF. Have bulkheads line the whole innards of the ship, throught the booms. Basically, ts a sea station, that they can use for sea minin/exploration, etc. And heck, since its airtight (have to make it airtight, who knows, it may go into space) , it can weather any storm or hurricane that may come along while at sea. So thats my idea
