    Thanks goes to RazorX for repackaging VO and VOXP! Be sure to look at the MW Macross games thread for more information on the Macross VO game. I was reading recently that some guys in South America were able to get the online Macross Vo server working. I hope so!

    A fresh working copy of Macross Zero episode 3 has been re uploaded to rapid share because the file was corrupted even before putting it in the winrar package.

    DYRL NLA and SM anime are available upon request.

    Use HJsplit to reintegrate the files.

    I was just wondering why the original Macross TV series could not be turned into a series of OVA movies like how the original Gundam series was turned into three good movies? Also, has anybody read that the Macross Zero ova was going to be turned into a 2 hour movie like the action packed Macross plus movie?

    Maybe, I have just been watching too many fan edited movies on www.fanedit.org?

    (ep3 is corrupted, but the back up ep 3 copy in the winrar file is still good)

    (the only corrupted file was Mikimoto's innocence picture 42, so I uploaded that already to Macross Fixed Files)

    Needs fixing and re uploading:

    1. Macross 7 episodes: Central anime are available on Macross Share website

    2. Macross games: uploading games individually depending on game availability on Macross Share website

    I found winrar software keeps giving me crc errors when compressing some of the video files even though there is nothing wrong with the original video files, especially the bigger dvd vob files.

    I am switching to HJsplit software, which just splits the files instead of compressing the files. For the upcoming dvd movies, I am using hjsplit for splitting the iso dvd file. So, if the files are .001, .002, then use hjsplit to reintegrate the files back into the iso. You can use winrar to extract the iso file onto your computer or use Nero to burn the dvd disc.

    vfx2 has 2 of 3 intact copies in the folder, so I do not need to upload again.

    PSX dyrl: dyrl.bin rar was corrupted, but the dyrl.bin and cue file for both discs are intact

    Macross Share website has all available Macross Games.

    Special Bonus:

    I am uploading to iMacross4 Rapidshare server a DYRL special edition dvd that will include dyrl psx footage, dyrl sm anime and flashback 2012. The video quality for the dvd is only as good as the video files I have, so the beginning and ending is a little fuzzy and without subtitles.

    Ideally, I wish I could figure out how to get the

    1. dyrl psx footage from 20th anniversary dvd with subtitles,

    2. an updated dyrl dvd with Hurin's subtitles and

    3. flashback 2012 dvd with subtitles

    then it could be possible to to put together a dyrl dvd that I would really love.

    This is my first version. I'll see if I can get an improved version together, but I need to do some research on extracting dvd to avi files, extracting or making subtitles, putting subtitles onto video files and then editing and reconverting the subtitled video into a good looking dvd movie.

    Hello:

    Macross 7 supplementary has corrupted video files. I need to find m7 ov ep 4 and dynamite ep 4 on my old back up discs. Macross 20th has corrupted files due to winrar.

    I am going to check on all the winrar files for corruption and upload again as needed.

    Hello:

    The iMacross4 premium Rapidshare account is paid up until July 4/07. So, even if you are downloading with a free account, then you can still download at 100mb/2hours. A premium rapidshare account of $10/month is cheap considering how much you get out of it and a lot faster than bittorent file sharing.

    Rapidshare came to my attention when I was looking for a full copy of Star Wars: Deleted Magic and found www.fanedit.org that uses Rapidshare to distribute lots of cool fan edited movies.

    As well, the more MW members download from iMacross 4 Rapidshare account, then the more Rapidshare points I would accumulate and with these Rapidshare points I would then trade them in to extend the time for keeping iMacross 4 on Rapidshare.

    Next up is Macross 7 series which will probably be finished uploading by next week. Then the Dyrl package to finish off uploading all of my macross files to my rapidshare account.

    I also have DYRL anime cartoon dvd, but I hear that the DYRL FX dvd is better, so I probably won't upload. I have a copy of Macross PS2 game, but I have no idea if it works because I do not have a PS2 console to test it. That's all I got.

    So, for example, to download all the macross games from my Rapidshare account. You click on the link for macross games. Then you download all the files from 1 to 34 onto your computer. Then click on file 1.exe to unpackage the macross games files onto your computer. Then enjoy!

    Click here to start downloading Macross games !

    Once you have completed downloading all the files, then click on the *.EXE file for automatic winrar unzipping.

    Rapidshare is a website that hosts computer files.

    Free rapidshare account gives you 100mb/2hour downloads.

    Paid rapidshare account $10/month gives you multiple 100mb files for downloading up to 25gb/5days and allows me to upload all my macross files for sharing.

    I will be uploading all the macross files I have to my rapidshare account over the next 4-6 weeks. You will be able to download at whatever speed your isp can give you.

    Next set of rapidshare files will be for Macross music and probably available by next week.

    MTS done good. I have been staying connected for more than a week to the internet through MTS adsl modem. The internet speed is pretty good without worrying about a bandwidth cap (for now). I have been testing settings on DI-524 router and so far I have only had to reset the router once in the last 4 days. I saved the router settings for next time that Dlink gives a software upgrade for this router.

    Last week, I also received Hikuro's MW dub of Macross Zero episode one split into 4 computer video files.

    You can also watch Hikuro's M0 dub on www.youtube.com . It's really well done.

    Once Hikuro is able to do a final dvd/vcd conversion of M0 dub, I plan to get a copy and then post the complete series as a bitorrent on imacross4.

    I was thinking of buying a better wireless router. Any suggestions?

    I currently have d-link di-524.

    My MTS adsl modem connection was finally fixed last week ( took 2 weeks, 4 home visits of MTS technicians, and 9 hours phone calls); and, I have yet to be disconnected from the internet. But, this d-link router cannot handle file sharing for more than a day. I have tried all the settings, and I still have to reset this router 2-3 times a day to get the connection speed up from lower than 10kb/s back to adsl speed.

    iMacross4 mostly online.

    You can expect slow speeds for all this week. I have to stick to MTS for a while, since I am just doing ebay auctions now and I don't want to mix ebay buyers up with email and paypal changes.

    I will phone Shaw next week to get the nitro super fast internet; it's worth the extra cash and the least trouble.

    MTS internet speed is barely comparable to when I had MTS TV/adsl (30-40kb/s download : 20-30 kb/s upload), but no sudden disconnects. December 2006, Shaw cable was way better for speed (80-100 kb/s down : 80-100 up), but Shaw disconnected me every other day, but that could be because I need to buy their new modem.

    Good news is that the MTS technician this morning did a super job getting the internet to stay connected, since I was constantly disconnected every 10-30 minutes without any filesharing. He rewired the filter in my condo apartment, put on a new filter for the intercom, and went outside in the cold to change the port for my modem. I wish more MTS tech guys were that thorough. Then one hour after the port change, the internet speed drops off, so I spend 1 hour on the phone with MTS again to find that bittorrent filesharing opens up so many connections on my modem that down/up speed drops to less than 56k. At least, I think that's what's happening. :wacko:

    Right now, I checked the bittorrent settings to reduce upload slots and connections and keep the upload speed to 40 kb/s maximum. So far in the last two weeks, I learned a lot about router settings, working on little sleep, and dealing with frustration.
