Very strange. However, since both items are of equal value (MBZ - BMW using the example) I don't think there is fraud here. I imagine the seller probably relisted the wrong item and just noticed it. Good thing I didn't set it up to snipe!

not only that, but he was also the guy that was nice enough to hook up a bunch of members here with some LV's without charging an arm and a leg for them. most of us had our doubts(including my paranoid arse) but he came through like a champ. Yep. BF hooked me up with a LV ~ three months ago for cost. He went out of his way and tracked down, what 5 of them and sent them out. He's also given us information on product releases and so forth. To keep this sort of on-topic, I understand why people might think it's not cool to re-sell something on eBay but really, on page 1 or 2 of this thread, didn't the person who designed the kit give the 'It is fine that he sold' it post?

Portable systems aren't just for your workday commutes. I like to play my GBA on my lunch break at work, on the can when it's time for #2, and even a little bit in bed after I've tucked myself in for the night. The more I read about the DS, the more promising it looks. i can agree with that. i play my gba when i head up to my cabin in the woods, its much easier to lug it around than unplugging a computer or a ps2 and lugging it up there and plug it back in then pack it back up to bring it home. You guys all have good points. Perhaps I use 'those' times for reading (toilet and bed) and we don't have a cabin yet. Though I imagine if we did, we'd have an Xbox there full time.

If I took public transport to work I'd consider it. As it is, I don't travel enough to justify a portable system and at home, I spend most of my time with my Xbox (can you say Halo2, and KOTOR still to come in '04?). Perhaps if I started travelling for work more I'd pick up a portable system...

That would be really lame (if the previous buyer backed out) because he even left feedback for the item. Kinda fishy but the guy does have OK feedback (check out some of his Green Goblin masks). Better than Chocolate Fondue pots!

Good question. I have no idea who this person is but if you check their other auctions, those look legit (you see the items)... Note - the 1/48s are also like this. It's a bit risky since he's got a low feedback rating but those MPCs do look sealed.

I dunno, but I found this kind of funny in his item description: "...Detractable landing gear with authentic rubber tires." Well... the guy is a dork. I have a beef with people who pre-sell stuff on eBay but those people really did need to read the 'fine print'. I've checked 10/11 of the negatives and they were all on pre-orders. tsk tsk... eBay really shouldn't allow pre-orders.

In the commentary Lucas says there are 3 different audio versions of ANH. Each have slightly different dialog. I thought so. Why did he change the dialogue for that portion. I thought it was quite moving. I've still got to get through the commentary for Ep II.

In the books, he escapes. Also, I was just watching ANH and noticed that when Darth and Kenobi were fighting, this version didn't have Kenobi saying 'you can't win Darth. If you strike me down now, I will become more powerful than you can ever imagine'. It's been a few years since I've seen the originals. Was this taken out with the original special editions?

So I'm interested in acquiring a Clone Trooper or Scout Trooper bust (I think they're gentle giant). Also, if you have a Kotobukiya Boba Fett (not Jango) and / or a Clone Trooper one, I'd be interested (assuming a reasonable price). Thanks in advance.

Fair enough (re: paying the money) but on 11-09-04 you'll probably want it. Do you have a wireless router at home because if so, you could probably hook up everything for less than $100. And ESPN is only $19.99. I'm quite enjoying it and as I mentioned before, I like both series. Yes I already have a wireless infastructure. Hey Godz, if you've already got the infrastructure setup, you don't need the 'official' xBox wireless crap... just go and pickup a wireless bridge and you'll be set!

I agree with Js. I confess that I haven't watched the DVD's thoroughly, but from what I've seen on my HDTV, they look simply amazing! I still have my laserdisc box sets (Definitive THX and SE set) and the video quality is by far superior on the DVD's. The audio's excellent too, but for some reason, the Definitive box set just sounds more "right." It seems like the music and sfx are ever so slightly out of balance in the SE and DVD sets, probably has to due with the old Dolby track being mixed to DD 5.1. Funny that people are mentioning problems with ANH, because the guy who burned me my DVD copies had a problem copying that particular disc. That's right King George, you're not getting any more of my money, muhahaha! Yep, I was very pleased when I threw in Empire yesterday to preview the discs. On my HDTV it looks like the bomb. I'm only using component out too (only one HDMI input). The picture is great. Sound is fine too. Regarding the R2 line change, that's odd. I'll have to check it out. I wonder why he did that.
