Thanks for clearing that up McKlown.

So here's my quick hit on the 'flying rocks'.... The Dr. mentioned somewhere about being able to unlock 'anti-gravity' using this technology. Perhaps Sara's singing simply 'awakened' the anti-grav technology. Has anyone discussed the possibility that Minmay might be Sara's child? That would connect a lot of the Macross 'dots'...

Just posted a couple elsewhere. Skull 001's custom Max with some 1/48's I got from Neova.
-
Fan Subs... I imagine you could get that pose using two of the smallest sizes and one of the largest sizes. Here's some more images with a couple of 1/48s. The 1J Max is using three different rod sizes for his 'pose'

I have to agree with haterist in that your best bet will be to get one of each and mix/match them. I've gotten the 1/60's to pose pretty well with this fashion. With the spares, you can usually figure something out if you're creative (I've got a good 1/48 pose that I should post using 1 stick of each length).

wow, nice job on those little figures. What are those suppose to be? Early macross designs? Or a rip off of Macross? From what I understand, BT took a handful of ideas from Macross and started using them as mecha. If memory serves correctly there are a lot of BT designs borrowed from Macross... The Glaug, enemy Battlepods, VF1s, and various destroids come to mind.

Welcome and don't worry, some of us here don't mind Robotech stuff. While the Yamato stuff is clearly of better quality, the MPCs aren't that bad.

I often see 'how much is this worth' or 'did I get a good deal' posts and was wondering if in the B/S/T section it'd be worth having some sort of 'appraisal' thread where MW members could post questions like 'I'm thinking of getting XXXX, how much should I pay' or I just got 'XXXXX' was it a good deal? Obviously lots of time people put stuff up to brag but it might be helpful to gauge what the perceived market value is of before people buy/sell. Apologies if this isn't the correct place to suggest this.

You like the justice league batman? IMHO this batman is many time better Hey, it's been a long time since I actually watched a super hero cartoon! I'll have to grab this one then sometime.
-
Kind of a stupid question so slap me and call me an idiot.... I would consider myself a Dark Knight fan and enjoy the way Batman's character is represented on Justice League. Does his Animated Series do him justice or is it toned down and 'kiddified'? Basically is he bad-assed and scary to bad guys?

The main drawback to the Land Warrior system, the current one, is that the sucker weighs 80 pounds! Isn't there another gov funded project which will enable soldiers to carry larger weight-loads? I remember seeing some exo-skeleton leg-gizmos which increased a soldiers carrying capacity by quite a lot.

I think the bigger nail in the shield's coffin would be that it basically doesn't work, is a waste of money, and as you pointed out, 'vending machine nukes' or suitcase ones. I think the problem with the F/A-22 that others probably pointed out is that in this war on 'terror' a F-15 can do the same job the Raptor can. The article referring to India's pilots scoring hits on US planes doesn't say that India is a threat but that we're getting lazy and working on pet projects like Anubis pointed out. Personally? I don't really see a reason for the F/A-22 when we can't even get basic body-armor and rifles to the troops in Iraq.

Quick question about the stand ... I've heard that it needs assembly and will also require painting. I presume someone here can confirm/debunk this.

who like to torture and kill innocent people so they can get there own way. Not to smack around the hornet's nest but some might say the same thing about this administration.... I seriously doubt all the people in Abu Ghraib/Guantanamo bay are 'guilty'.

Hah... I look at my armored valk and think 'how on earth does this thing 'pose'? Mine is precariously balanced right now but looks like a big busted, heel-wearing drunk celebrity with its chest hanging out, weighing it down. And no, I'm not one of those strange valk-lovers out there with some strange fantasy. I just see the thing as completely un-poseable.

So I am in no way a gun-nut but is this basically the OISW (or whatever the acronym is)?

Kurt - I always enjoy your work. Do you have a collection of all your customs (besides ones posted on the MW custom page)?

Ehh... it interests me only slightly. I'm starting to get into JL but I can't find many older DVDs. I don't suppose there are plans to release a 'season I JL' DVD set are there?

Some of my 1/60s.... I had to photoshop out the hanging cords. I've got some 1/48s that I need to take photos of.

Agreeing with Godzilla in that Neova hooked me up promptly with a GBP set and two valks he had parted out. Great to work with and quick shipping! Thanks a lot.

I'm in the middle of putting my TakaToys sitckers on and noticed that the radar-dish sticker is way too big for the radar same with the cockpit stickers. Anyone else notice this? I guess I might have to raid the wife's medicine cabinet for some nice small scissors for those guys.

Mine did not come with sickers/instructions either.

Found an image of the Navy's new uniform... heart-print optional! You'll notice there is no longer a neckerchief required and no sign of that controversial beret

Err... it wouldn't be knee pads would it?
