High-quality static on-face vinyl UN Spacy decals for sale
94medition replied to Axelay's topic in For Sale & Trade
I have not got my decals nor heard from Axelay either. Hope everything is going ok with him. -
Received the package today. It is nicely packed that even one of the corners of the shipping box is dinged pretty badly, the original box inside is safe. Thanks!

For smaller items, the cheapest way is SAL small package. However, that is limited to the total dimension (h x w x d) to be 90 cm or less and 2 Kg. Now with so many items (with big boxes), you may want to write and ask them directly. The problem is, based on my experience, they are pretty slow to response to email. I assume you want to take advantage of the current Macross sale. If you are sure you want all these items and are NOT set up for automatic Paypal payment, I would suggest you to order the items first, then ask them what is the cost for the various shipping options. Good luck.

Payment sent for 1/60 VF-11B.

94medition replied to Axelay's topic in For Sale & Trade
Axelay, please count me in for two. I bought mine from another MW member a few years back and put it on the rear window of my car. It still looks good (I did tint the rear window). I will try post a pic later. -

Just a little over 24 hour left. Auction will end on Wednesday 03/23 at 11:30pm. Reminder: Since you donate to Red Cross/World Vision directly, your donation is 100% deductible as charity contribution in your 2011 Tax Return if you use Form 1040. This is additional saving to you. Please consider bidding the items for a good cause.

Thanks ultimateone. Super Imaginative Chogokin (S.I.C.) is a Bandai toy line started I think in 2000. It first started wtih Kamen Rider characters then later with lots of other Tokusatsu such as Hakaider and Kikaider. The emphasis of this series is realism. I really like their design. The early figures are not really poseable. The later ones have better poseability. For me I only like the old Tokusatsu characters. Search hlj.com for "S.I.C." and select "All items" under AVAILABILITY and you will find a lot of other S.I.C. figures.

[update 04/22] I was going to write this last update a few weeks ago, but has not had a chance to do so due to some personal events. Thank you so much for Excillion, Minelayer and ultimateone for participating in the auction. They have gone above and beyond in donation (such as finding donation matching and donating more than the price they won). I really appreciate that from the bottom of my heart. When I started the auction, my goal was to get more people involve to help with the earthquake/tsunmai relief effort. This thread was viewed 627 times. I am sure that some of these viewers helped out in the relief effort. It has been six weeks since the earthquake and tsunami struck Japan. Unfortunately after the first couple of weeks, most attention has been focused on the Nuclear Plants instead of the people. Many people lost their lives and loved ones. It is a long journey to recovery. I wish the people in Japan the best. [see daily update at the end of the post][Auction closed] I am a Macross and Gundam fan. I grew up watching anime and Tokusatsu, and I love Japanese culture. I am really sadden by the tragedy in Japan and have been thinking about what I can help. I already donated to Red Cross and World Vision. I am hoping to get more people to help. I am going to donate some of the models and toys that I love to help Japan. All you have to do is to make your donation directly to Red Cross or World Visison. Here is how it works: I will set a starting price for all the items. Whoever is interested please post a price they would like to donate for the item(s). I am even paying shipping out of my own pocket. The "auction" will close on Wednesday (03/23) 11:30pm Central time. The member with the largest total amount for the items will win first. Then the member will the highest bid for the individual item is next. I am a busy family man with a full time job and two young children. I am trying to reducing the amount of packing/shipping and shipping cost if possible. If you win, all you have to do is to make a donation for the winning amount DIRECTLY to Red Cross or World Vision. Email me the confirmation email from Red Cross/World Vision, I will send the item(s) to you on Saturday 03/26. Please note that I DO NOT gain anything from this. I am basically donating the items as well as paying for shipping. You will get the item(s) for a good cause and a tax deduction from Red Cross or World Vision. I am sorry that this is for the U.S. members only. I will contact the winners through PM to get their mailing address and contact info as well as providing my email for them to send the donation confirmation. Please wait for my winning confirmation BEFORE you make the donation. I know that the For Sale & Trade section rules normally allow fixed price transaction only. I did email/PM Graham, Shawn and the moderators about this "auction". I have not heard from Graham and Shawn but did get response and ok from the mods. If you have already made a donation to Red Cross and World Vision before this auction, the amount you donated cannot count for this auction. Please do not send any altered or fake donation receipt. All I am doing here, as a anime/model/toy fan, is to hope to get more people involve and help. You will get something back you like for a good cause. If you have no interested in these items, that is okay too. Please consider to donate to whatever organization you are more familiar/comfortable to help. Some companies and organization would match your donation too. Don't miss the opportunity. A majority of my items are Gundam, hope you don't mind. Please spread the words if you know anybody is interested. Here is the list of items. They are "auction" as groups only (no individual sale). All items are brand new. Some boxes may have been flatten before for storage. But all runners are still in the original bag. 1. Macross 1/100 Destroid Pack. Defender, Phalanx, Spartan and Tomahawk. I bought these from a MW member here back in 2006. The Spartan is a 15th annersary edition. Starting price: $80. 2. 1/60 Perfect Grade Zaku. I love the PG but really don't have time to take on these huge projects any more. The box is a little beat up but everything inside is in perfect condition. Starting price: $115 3. MG Gundam. US version MG NT-1 and MG Char Zaku II ver 1.0. Starting price: $55 4. Bandai MC Getter and Mazinger. See the links for more info. Mechanic Collection Kit Getter 1, 2000 Yen. http://www.hlj.com/product/BAN958102 Mechanic Collection Kit Mazinger Z, 2000 Yen. http://www.hlj.com/product/BAN958101 Starting price $40 5. 0083 Group. 1/550 GP03 Dendrobium and Neue Ziel Neue Ziel, 1200 Yen. http://www.hlj.com/product/BAN907719 Dendrobrium, 1500 Yen. http://www.hlj.com/product/BAN903908 Starting price $35 6. U.S version S.I.C. Hadaider (Hakaida) vol 4 (only 1 figure) The U.S. version is exactly the same as the Japanese version except the packaging. Very detailed figure. http://www.hlj.com/product/BAN72869 Starting price $30 All pricing includes shipping. Again, I am donating the items as well as paying for shipping. I do not get a penny back for the auction. Winners donate to Red Cross or World Vision DIRECTLY. Your donation is also tax deductible. Like I said I am a very busy dad, and I can only check the MW forum a few times a day. I will try to do an update for each item with the highest bid every night. If you are interested in the items, please post in the thread with you price. If you are not interested in the items, please please still consider to donate to Red Cross, World Vision or other organization to help. Please spread the word. Together, we can do something about the tragedy! If you can, pray for the people in Japan while they are going through this tragedy. Thank you and God Bless. [EDIT] Auction closed 3. MG NT-1 and Char Zaku II ver 1.0. Minelayer for $55 4. Bandai MC Getter and Mazinger. Excillon for $40. 6. U.S version S.I.C. Hadaider (Hakaida) vol 4. ultimateone for $35.

Wow, another amazing custom sdf-1 WIP! The magnet for the bridge is brilliant! Where did you get the Photo Etched parts? Is 1/700 the right scale to use or you just pick the ones that same to match of the scale of the sdf-1? I will definitely closely follow this thread.

Graham, thank you so much for the review, especially the videos. The video puts it in perceptive as to how big it really is.

Official Bandai DX Chogokin VB-6 König Monster Thread

Same situation here. I also pre-ordered the standard version. SAL (not small package) shipping is 4080 Yen. I asked about EMS, it is 4280 Yen. For 200 Yen more, I went with EMS instead. Packing is one thing that hlj is definitely better than amiami. hlj's shipping estimate is usually dead on and they would use the proper size boxes. I ordered a VF-27 at amiami with another small item when they had the 50% off shipping. They used a box so huge that the packing peanuts filled up almost 3 trash bags! Consider hlj selling for full price and no SAL shipping (value > 15000 Yen), it is still cheaper to buy at amiami. -
I am interested in the "Zentradi sitting pilot pose" by John M. 1/72 scale. Is this one for the Regult?

Your MQ looks so much better after the wash and added details. Fpr the promodeller wash, do you have to spray a flat clear coat to protect the wash? Is the promodeller wash kind of like a enamel wash? Would it make the plastic more brittle? Sorry for all the questions. I am really interested with this wash and would like to know more and your experience with it. Thanks! -

Great pics MacrossJunkie! What do you use to panel line and wash? For injection models I use oil paint with odorless mineral spirit. It works great but makes the plastic more brittle. Since the MQ is a transformable toys, I want to use something saver. I also ordered the MQ from amiami. Just got the shipping notice. No wonder the stock for the MQ dropped so fast. I guess several members here ordered from amiami around the same time. -
