The VF-1D is generally seen to be dual-use, IIRC: as a trainer and as a two-seat combat unit.

there was a lot of conversation about that on the old boards, and some said the -1D was like a strike aircraft, or a wild weasel type unit....

I need specifics . Are the ground crew's scale 1/48 just like the valks or 1/55 or 1/72? Do these need to be painted? HLJ???? what do i look under?

just go to the advance search menu, and where it says scale, type in 1/48, then see what they got. i tried it a while ago, and didn't see much, other than kits, but little in the way of ground crews...

Nanashi did the work on this, just like Shawn said, and i think everyone owes it to him to respect his wishes. he does a great service to us here, and i think it would be a shame to loose that simply because a member believes he can be disrespectful.
