the Teen Titans book out now is so incredibly awesome. Geoff Johns is kicking all kinds of ass on that book. the story that just wrapped is one in which Raven is brought back by Brother Blood, who is now a vampire (!), and one thats coming up will be a cross over with The Legion of Super Heroes, and deciding where Superboy really belongs in the 21st or 31st centruy. For a look at the old school Titans (Speedy and Robin 2), check out Judd Winick's Outsiders. since giving Kyle the boot, Jenny Hayden (aka Jade) has been hanging out there and butting heads with Roy (aka Speedy, aka Arsenal) and Dick (Robin 1, aka Nightwing). good stuff. while i'm pimping comics here, definately check out Birds of Prey, a wonderful book that kicks all kinds of ass, Written by Gail Simone and Drawn by Ed Benes.

i believe that the books are an adaptation of the comics.

there was nothing wrong with the original Dark Horse plot for the AVP comics. why mess with that plot. okay, sure theres no Colonial marines in it, but it would still have been great. Adding Colonial Marines would have made it an oscar contender.....

i loved Enemy at the Gates and Confidence. she was great in both of them. X3 would be great, if in going with the cosmic theme, the X-men get to fight the Shi'ar. they could really cut loose against these guys. see X-men 275-77(?) for some awesome battle scenes. i loved the way Jim Lee had Gambit emptying the whole deck into Gladiator's chest. absolutely awesome.

Guillermo Del Toro was the guys name. he would be a good fit, but only if he is as enthusiastic about X3 as he was about Hellboy. plus, on that project, he had Mike Mignola's help on how to make things look and feel in the pic. as much as it would rock for someone like Chris Claremont to help out, Del Toro still would have to be pumped up about doing it to make it good.

oh well, at least Spidey 3 will be good. hopefully, they will still include Gambit in X3.
