Well, not impossible ! some few years ago, I found in a market there in France, a stock of hundreds brand new boxes of Captain Harlock figures ... made in 1978 ! for the french market by the italian manufacturer Atlantic. (you can see what I am talking about here Harlock figures) Just took 50, I wasn't a big fan of Harlock ! Bootlegs ? well this market near the harbour is not the right place to sell those figures and make money (It was a very good deal for me). saw hundreds of boxes on ebay only 1 year later, and I think we can find some again nowadays. It was the source !? For the Alpha and Beta, the price wasn't so cheap for the 80's : 99 french francs, approx. USD 15. You could buy 5 / 6 little model kits for this price at the time. (now: nothing !!!)... I am not sure, but I guess we could only purchase the box in a catalogue and not in a shop.

*Bump* just 1 day before the end... macross serie cels, and other things (CM's and banpresto figure, robotech comics, gundam entertainment bible, ...)

... from "Blue Gender" (with wheels if necessary) I like too the "Aliens" one as a first generation mecha... The big (really big) size is not always a good thing, see the fortress armor during WWII (russian, french, german Maus,...)...it depends who are the enemies and their weapons !

Hmmm, Interesting ! So we don't really know where this logo come from (ARTMIC or Miyatake ?), and less what's the connection between this logo and Mospeada ! (Propaganda ?!!) Anyway, it's a beautiful logo. It would be interesting to see it on a VF1 Fastpack at the place of the skull logo.

Just saw this ending auction: Ebay auction I guess it's a Macross 7 deck crew. (who makes this ?) Except the well known Arii models and other ones in the model section (Tsukuda Misa, Gport Sylvia, and other Minmay...) Is there a lot of Macross figures ??? (resin, pvc, styrene,...) Edit: 1/6 or other scales

Thanks, that's my first experience with a 1/6 scale figure. I usually makes some 1/72 and some few 1/35 military figures. I will try to do more. I have bought the other arii boxes but this model of minmay seems to be the coolest (the head with helmet of the hikaru model is really ugly...and need hard customs) I add some few parts to be accurate to the drawing on the box: - the clear shawl. The solid one in the box is so ugly and massive - the ear-ring (nothing in the box) - change the mike - add some locks ! I use aztec airbrush,...but not easy... I prefer hand brush. I finish the kit with some "weathering"

tell me if you need something else. the cockpit of the 19 is hard to make with those screens at the foots of the pilot. Do you have an idea to make this realistic ?
