  1. I am 36 years old.I was sitting on my bed with a revoltech vf-1s posing this new figure when it dawned on me that there probably must be more people out there like me that are doing the same .(I couldn't imagine this breakable toy in the hands of a rough handed child as it isn't durable enough like a tonka truck and there are many losable parts that need guarding). If there weren't ,the company making this stuff couldn't afford to keep the operation going. I am a mere person. Are there people elsewhere that help these companies going? I love this stuff.I hope they stay afloat a long time with our and my minor contributions to the pool. I do however think its possible that maybe a huge group somewhere must also be keeping these companies going.I just don't know where they are. If only 10 people bought Pepsi then They couldn't keep the factories going.Maybe someone here knows where the lions share of collectors reside? Just a random curiosity. I like antiques and jewelry collecting. These toys are as special to me as Edwardian and Victorian jewelry can be with me.I think of them as similar and equal in importance. Will I continue this madness forever? I wonder what the future holds. We need a museum to share the importance of robot madness or something.
  2. Is there such thing as a fan dub as opposed to a fan sub? I wanted to buy or aquire a fan dub of dyrl?, that is reasonably mixed .If I get the audio I can sync it to my video just for home use .Thanks.
  3. That is nice of you tell tell me this.Thank you!
  4. I got a vf-1s Revoltech .Does anybody know what the strange part is that doesn't seem to be fit into anything. It is black ,round disc-like, with a small peg and two larger pegs that are white?Thank you ahead of time (I circled it for clarity sake)
  5. I would like to see those revisions- vfxraven19 ,and some more modifications to get it exacting.I tryed to draw them, for my own conversion this is the most elusive angle to cature because i dont want to start by cutting until I get the drawn plans done .Maybe you got more pix. It's the red extending hover pad that I wouln't mind creating
  6. Look at theses bad boys, I googled it and found a model pic if you care I couldn't find any I think it is rare maybe someone knows, where online they might be? but not me. Cougar Inorganic hellcat right?
  7. I heartily agree,I just cant abide the missing mode. Its a travisty. I think it is one of the few toys that they made that even changed
  8. I got some caps, also it looks like the foot would definately need an altenate bending spot as well
  9. I'm sure I dont speak for everyone else but, I love this mecha. It isn't very consistant in the animation, as well but, it has posibilities.I like the super dimensional tri-mode theme . Danas' armour as well it's reminiscent of the head on the vf-1s in so far as some shapes and the green visor. I have two of the matchbox tanks and like them as they are towering and sturdy, compared to everything.I was thinking it would be nice to kit-bash some legs on a third one when I find one on Ebay and fix up my second tank. It's just a matter of getting the legs folded and causing the little hover pads (like on the show) to extend and fold out from the shiins of the legs and creating a gun that mounts and rests across the dash board hoody deal.I still wish some one could make a awsome"from scratch" ,Tank that is more posable and less clunky as well But I wont hold my breath for that blue moon.Probably be my little pet project.
  10. Brad Altman can be on Stern show or sirius radio with Hikaru Takei?
  11. Thanks, I just snapped the Hatch piece on (fig 3) and I see your point, now it works. I found those little lock nubs. As to the rest ,thanx again I needed that. Just the neck pivoter seems to bind against the inner shoulder but I can abide by that one quirky thing. This is either situational,me or a trifle, exclusive to this one and only valk. I wish the head wasn't low slung and burried under the inner shoulder so deep, well I dont know,It seems like I get better views above eye level to the visor of it.
  12. I just took the plunge, and not wanting to hurt it,here goes. I dig the Yamato 1/48 very much ,I appreciate them even more looking at MWorlders mods and pose stances.I just seem to be getting stuck with the 1/48 transformation. I dont even know if everything thing is in its proper place,I have looked at pics, transformation guides from here and the original book and not ever having seen someone change this valk I have no comparison or teacher.also the guide came in a foriegn language. Here are four little things that puzzle me still. #1 the side covers don't seem to lock in place to well ,the need to be coaxed or aimed into place ,there seems to be no audible lock "click",noise .???? #2 the grey neck swivel catches on other parts as it is swiveled.???? #3 Pushing at points 1and two as below in (figure3) doesn't cause this HATCH to lock whatsoever, thus its a bit flimsy and rocks back and forth a bit instead of staying flush and locked.???? #4 what is the function of the circled piece in (figure4), and is it out or in during battroid mode completion.???? Thanx
  13. Thanks Folks,I also resorted to scanning my RT coloring book for now. If you need some line-art,here's some lancer-alphas for reference
  14. I've been on working on some cross over or bridge the gap mecha art and I was wondering if if some one knows a page where I can find a black and white legioss/Alpha in all its modes,Thanx
  15. That would be nice but, I would be happy with Austrailian dub as well
  16. I would love to buy that or a copy from you because I have been trying to merge clash of the bionoids into DYRL but its so painstakingly gruling .So far I,ve managed to only do 30 minutes of sync-ing and Iam no pro especially using this Videowave pro 7 with no functionality. Also the audio from bionoids is trashy inso far as its an old copy and the analog video is out of time with the dvd after awhile. all I want to do is watch the story in english. Please help I will pay 20 bucks the movie .Please email me at geecie30@yahoo.com Sorry so green but its news to me ,about this movies existence
  17. I saw a 1/60 video guide on the MW site .I did a search "transformation guide 1/48 and nothing came up" I have had this 1/48 for more than a year but I am affraid to break it during X4m8shcione thanks Also:I have some new unopened blue Mpc alphas and dont know how much to charge any advice? is $70 and exact shipping fair?
  18. You guys are right.I dont know how to do the sculpting, however.Skeletons would be nice all the same.Nevermind the conversion gladiator.
  19. Ok ,Ok all Iam saying is that the pelvis and torso upwards are structurally similar and since some one wants to make the skelleton so that all can be displayed why not if possible ,make a skelleton that can have the legs come off or at the knee area and atach the armor plate over these said legs. Thanks it's just a matter of two screws on the feet for changing this most radically different impediment
