Has anyone told the G-man about this show yet? I only just saw 3 last night, I'm liking it more and some characters are actually starting to emerge from the whirlwind of faces. The HRL Colonel's mecha with the flight belt was pretty cool.

Which just adds to the "masks serve no real purpose in gundam" theory because Yzak is the only character I can think of who had a scar and he deliberately kept it on show. If anyone had a reason to wear a mask, it was him.

CM's one is 1/18, it's the smallest and I also think they haven't painted bits of it yet, at least wait until it's finished to slag it off.

The first disc should be out early next year (hopefully Jan but they haven't actually announced it yet) , from ADV.

No kidding, fortunately the soundtrack should be out in Japan this month (saw it on CD Japan a few months ago) Oh, I'm just about to press play on the Manga dvd, one thing to note is that I only got one disc this time. No idea if the other territories will be the same though. Ok, seen it all, I won't do a detailed review because I don't want to spoil any of it but the long and the short of it is; Dear lord, please let there be more Karas! This is up there with Gurren Lagann and Eureka Seven as modern classic, who says all modern anime is crap!

I think that Gainax could get away with remaking the whole series if they went down the opposite path of Simon's power corrupting him and leading up to the finish we saw at the start of episode 1. Kinda like an RPG with two endings, people like those, right?

Well the animantion is certainly very pretty (the op is just gorgeous) but watching it I kinda felt like the guys at the display, "who the hell are these guys and what are they trying to prove!". A lot of mysterious characters spouting lines that obviously indicate their involvement without actually giving anything anyway and a typical "I can't lose to you!" moment which will no doubt result in a bitter rivalary that Setsuna just shrugs off. And what was the Gundam at the start, kinda looked like our old friend the RX-78. My theory (assuming it's not just Dynames and I didn't recognize it as such) is that it's the missing model no. If anyone remembers then, Exia is -1, dynames is -2 but Kryios is -4 and Virtue -5 or something. Actually I can't remember now but I do recall there being a gap in the model numbers. I think the misisng number might have been -4 even.

They certainly kept quiet on that Ni Nu, it's practically ready to go.

I'm not expecting perfect transform, even at MG quality the scale doesn't give enough room to work with.

I hope they remove the recap epsiode, I don;t need that taking up space on the disc.
