Does he acquire these with the owner's consent?
I pop back in here after about a month and we're now into a valk black market?
-
Take some pics!
Pics of box and bubble wrap, yes. Probably not even going to open it...
-
My VF-1S TV is sitting in the Post Office, gonna pick it up tomorrow
-
I haven't release vf-1s focker out of the box yet... haha
Mine's on a plane on it's way
-
Great Hikky Skull Leader pics!
-
Very faithful of you guys! And I'm just gonna toss Strike packs onto the Cavalier and -1S TV version...

I still prefer TV white to DYRL off-white... reminds me of the Vulcan's anti-flash white scheme
-
You -- are -- killing -- me!...
Lol, mechaninac should avoid all/most of my posts from now onwards
-
Ahhhh! Don't do that... I've already spent far too much this month
Whoops... being helpful doesn't help your wallet My bad. Lol.
-
That was what happened to me...
Lol, Macross fans think alike!

Wow, the VF-17D has really shot up in price bad. I wanted this second only to the 19P but both aren't justifiable/affordable for me. I'll cross my fingers for lightly used if the madness ever ends.
IIRC, Hobby Search has them back in stock, not bad prices too. http://www.1999.co.jp/eng/10193051 slightly under MSRP.

My recent order from HKC just cleared customs in New York yesterday. Soon I'll get to enjoy, or regret, the fruits of my impulse buy, but at least I'll be able to check off the VF-19S and VF-17S from my list of to-get items that are rapidly becoming scarce. Now, the only two that I'd like to purchase to close out my Yamato Macross collection are the VF-1A CF TV version and the VF-22S Max; after that, aside from Bandai's Frontier DXs, I can comfortably say that I'm done... until and if Arcadia steps into the vaccum Yamato is leaving in its wake.
IIRC, a member has the Max VF-22S up for grabs in the "For Sale" section...

Not much-19Kai love around here? Lol.

With this thread, there should be no regrets on purchasing a Valk with broken shoulders. I'm jealous you were able to land that 1J. It's one of the Valks I'm missing
+1 Me too! Having a -1S and -1A makes you crave for a -1J...
-
Congrats, great acquisitions!

Very clean looking. Hmmmm. This is about the last valk I need for my VF-1 collection...
-
No worries I have had good experience with them.
Yup, 2nd time ordering through them
-
Waiting for mine to ship from HKC...
-
The same amount. But to me it was worth it. And depends how much you want it.
Two words: Perceived value.
-
What were you looking to get?
One of the VF-1s... It's ok, I've bought mine off HKC.
-
The -19Kai is all I need.
-
I should stop too I made one more purchase yesterday and I am done too ( unless I find a Max 1/60 V2 VF-1J)
Woot. Those are rare pieces. I saw a VF-1S Roy Super/Strike DYRL on Mandarake for 13k yen, and it vanished after a few hours. Wow. Just wow. And to think my Cavalier stayed there for 3-4 days... I was lucky.

Eh I'm with you on that, except that I do get multiples if I like the design a lot. For example, I love the SDFM original series but can't ever get into the VF-1's design so I only bought one...and it's still in its bubble wrap. Same with the VF-25, I quite enjoyed frontier but don't like the Messiah.
On the flip side I think the "movie" that the Gamlin's 22 was in is a huge snorefest(a natgeo Sea Shepard documentary is more exciting) but I bought multiples of the mold, which I think is severely underrated. Same with Mac7 which I still don't get, and yet two thirds of my collection are from that series.
Agreed on the VF-25 and VF-1, never really grew on me, till I bought 1 VF-1A... nevertheless, don't think I'm ever getting a VF-25 toy... I actually liked M7, and most of my valks are from M7 as well...
