  1. I've bought a lot of stuff from them, and I've never had a bad experience. The only drawback with them is they tend to be a bit later shipping new releases compared to HLJ, but not like Luna Park delays.

    Arcadia VF-5000G

Hoping that's correct. Honestly, I hope these do well for them. (Now reissue the VF-11 and VF-17 🥺)
  3. I decided to snag one on mercari JP through Buyee, as there is currently a 12% off coupon. I'm sure the price will most likely go lower, over the next couple of days, but the next two weeks will be so busy for me that I was comfortable paying this amount and not having to worrying about it further. 😅
  4. I mean, the VF-5000G is (hopefully) coming out next year.
  5. I went the opposite way with the HMR VF-0D. I found it so good looking but annoying to handle that it pushed me over the edge to pick up an Arcadia VF-0D. The HMR VF-4 is pretty good, though...
  6. Secured 🙏 Can't wait to experience the loose joints in person. 😅
  7. I feel like the Harmony Gold situation isn't helping matters either, since they can't do any SDF macross stuff worldwide, but they can for the other series...
  8. Honestly, getting it in hand, the VF-0D is gorgeous. That said, it is also one of the most frustrating Macross toys I've owned in terms of trying to get everything to tab in/not fall off in fighter mode. Makes me want to seek out the Arcadia release, if only it wasn't so expensive. 😬
  9. Honestly, I'd have even settled for a second Hikaru to put in the Fan Racer...
  10. As someone who missed the original release of the Hikaru Vf-1S, I'm excited for the chance to get it at retail (with a more secure nosecone peg), but it's weird that they aren't releasing the strike parts separately. The Tamashii web shop exclusive DYRL Kakizaki VF-1A followed the normal release Hikaru VF-1S, I wonder if we will get a retail release DYRL (Max please) following this exclusive.
  11. I'm sure it's great for whoever gets the URL early. 🙄 I managed to get one from Nin-nin without too much headache. I'm glad this is finally getting re-released, as I missed the original two releases. Fingers crossed for an expansion set. I somewhat understand removing the hardpoint missiles, but I think it's egregious to remove the two from the internal leg bays. The punch effect parts definitely don't look as good as the old one, but maybe if the 21 is ever released they'll be some interplay between the two.
  12. I just saw HLJ tweet about this release. Can't say I'm not a little surprised, but pleasantly so.
  13. A little surprising, too. After Bandai showed off the Hikaru VF-1S DYRL with the "Mechanic Edition" strike parts last year, I'd have thought a pre-order would have happened by now.
  14. I think this might actually be my favorite deco Bandai has released on the VF-25.
  15. I actually managed to get one from HLJ. I put off on pre-ordering it and eventually missed it. It will be my first time owning a version of the 31, so I'm looking forward to it. 👀
  16. Yeah, I do, too. I really like how the Arcadia looks, but if the ankles aren't changed I'm not really interested. Hoping that I can still get one for not too ridiculous a price if the initial reviews of the toy are favorable...
  17. I still have my fingers crossed for a vf-11 reissue, but considering how those initially shelfwarmed I'm not going to hold my breath.
  18. Honestly, NY had been really good to me up until this year, but burned me on the Movie Super/Strike Parts and the HMR VF-4 Roy. Finger's crossed for Nin-Nin.
  19. I'm really hoping I don't get burned on Nin-Nin. I'm still waiting to hear back from Nippon-Yasan on two unfulfilled pre-orders, if this one also falls through it's going to be some interesting phone calls with my bank...
  20. Managed to snag one at Nin-Nin. My sympathies to those that got cart jacked, hopefully you'll get one before the night is over. This is actually the first successful pre-order I've managed to hit for this series of toys, so I'm excited to see what all fuss is about.
  21. It looks like it's just an extension joint so that the strike cannon can come further down over the shoulder, so that it would be parallel to the floor, rather than having it slightly tilted upward, as seen in the first picture. Most likely to preserve lineart accuracy for Fighter and Gerwalk mode, but allowing for a larger "bend" during battroid.

    Hi-Metal R

It feels weird not knowing what the next Macross Hi-Metal R is.... Kind of hope something is announced soon, so that I can complain about it.

    Hi-Metal R

Same here. Looking forward to seeing some reviews from people who sprung for faster shipping.

    Hi-Metal R

It does have a lot fewer accessories than the last few releases, considering all of them have had Super Parts...
