  1. Perhaps I should point out that it says "Box is mint" and "Toy itself is in great mint condition." Not to mention that the pictures don't show the stickers peeling, it says the box is bent, nothing relates to the figure. So reading all of it is key. As for grading the item, I definitely agree with Noel here. I never grade an item - one person's definition of the grade is different from another's. Anyone that sells cards (like baseball cards) knows what I'm talking about. If you have something halfway decent it has to be graded. Most people won't bid unless it is. But you can't grade it yourself - you have to send it off to have it graded, and half the time your buyer will demand to see the actual thing. I just provide an accurate description.

  2. Can you believe this guy? He's selling cheat codes! The most horrible part is that people are paying so much for them. He has a long winded description of the game Sonic Heroes then, at the end, he warns that the auction is only for cheat codes.

    Rediculous Auction

If you check his feedback, you'll see that he's already ripped off a few people. How can eBay let this go on? It looks just like any other game auction.

BTW, the only reason I came across this auction is because I'm selling a few copies of Sonic Heroes and I wanted to check out the competing auctions.

Yeah, people do sell the codes. I wouldn't say that his description is misleading, as anyone that reads two sentences (or one line) will realize that it clearly states it's only codes. So it's really just incompetent people and a guy that knows people are incompetent (and so he pushes it). I've done it before (pushed an item) and some people complain, but it's their fault they didn't bother to read (it's not as though the guy is lying). Still reminds me of the Xbox box auctions from when the Xbox first came out (people paid like $250 for them).

  3. Add this loser (from ebay): soryfam

I sold a book on half.com but forgot to confirm the thing (sent it out though). Then the guy leaves me a neutral and doesn't even say anything about the book. I wouldn't even care if the guy had just e-mailed me and asked like wtf is with this book since it was only like $.75. Unfortunately family left him a neutral before I could leave a negative.

  4. Hmm, I'd have to say my GBP armor (but I'm selling it), a Taka Super, and my HCM VF-1S, with all the styrofoam and inserts and stickers.

Outside of Macross, we would have to get into autographs. And, I've got so much stuff it's not funny. Just to name a few, stuff like Joe Namath and Walter Payton signed footballs.

  5. Here's my list, in no particular order:

    SDF Macross

    Lupin III (tv)

    Lupin III: Castle of Cagliostro

    MS Gundam

    Zeta Gundam

    Macross Plus

    Macross DYRL

    Cowboy Bebop

    Vampire Hunter D

Rurouni Kenshin (not the TV series or Seisouhen OVAs)

I'm surprised that nobody else liked Lupin. Especially since it was on CN (although CN sucks since they pulled it and replaced it with crap like Big O and Inu Yasha. Although most people used the MS Gundam excuse - "the animation is crappy.") Although they have hardly released any of it and (I haven't bothered with the DVDs, since I have vhs fansubs and the like) they did poor jobs on the TV series (the movies were really bad).

  6. A 1/55 Misa I got while in Japan a few years ago. I knew about RT (I was with a friend that introduced me to it) and he pointed the thing out to me (I also got some Arii models too). Needless to say I paid a lot of money for it, but it's worth it. I was too young for the first transformers, but my brother might have had a Jetfire.

  7. Hmm, this just hit me. If it doesn't launch the planes, unlike the Takatoku one (but it has them, unlike the Bandai), might it be the Matsushiro one. I know they made a 1/3000 because I've seen pics (and I saw one for sale once, but it wasn't open and it was really expensive).

  8. Here's one for sellers to avoid.

    foldedsteel - on ebay

This yahoo uses the BIN on the auction. Then when he gets it he demands a refund and if you don't threatens to leave negative feedback. I accepted his terms and said that if he wanted a refund...no problem. Please send the item back to me and I would give the refund. Which I think is fair. Shortly there after I got an e-mail saying that he is leaving Negative feedback...and he did  .

So basically this guy bids and then threatens with feedback to get the item for free. I contacted some of the other sellers he has bought from and a few said he did the same to them...except they refunded his money <_< .

    Sellers be careful!

Hey Rob, I just found this on eBay. If this counts, you won't get the feedback removed but you never know what eBay will do, especially if you get the other sellers on board with this.

THat sucks. That really sucks. Stuff like that is one of the reasons why I wait before leaving feedback now. What I would do is contact the other buyers and see if they refunded his money, and if he didn't send the items back. If so I'd ask them to see if he can be reported to eBay and to the police. And this guy is now on my blocked bidder list. Or you could have just sent him the money as a paypal payment then, if the item hadn't arrived, report him to paypal.
