Can I send a Gamecube to NCSX and they can mod it, or do they only sell modded Gamecubes? A switch to change regions sounds awesome

Yeah, you can. Or you can get the freeloader/action replay. Personally I like it being modded, although you need to remember don't switch it while its on.

I might get it once my PS2 arrives. Although I'd have to dig up the headset if it doesn't come with one already. Although my PS2 does come with SOCOM and I played it before, for like 5 minutes. Based on how much I like SOCOM, I'll consider this one. Although I need to get so much more stuff now so it will probably take me forever to get it.

e-mail all that stuff to him? Hell no, even if it isn't a scam its not worth it.
-
That's one thing I never got - he points out the elbows but he doesn't mention the landing gear covers (which are different)
-
That's a nice cel, but I don'd think its worth it given what cels usually go for. Although the guy does have some nice UC Gundam cels (some from F91 and 08th MS Team, just by glancing)

Umm anyone care to explain this?

Well, while avoiding work tonight, I found this on Yahoo JP

Here's the auction link, there are more pics there too

Saw this before it ended. Didn't bother with it since I just bought a PS2 with 5 games (not much cash left) and I would much rather have the Takatoku version. Still a really good price

DELL - Meh.
I currently support 3000 DELL Laptops out in the field, and I can tell you that they are - OK.
Pros - Good brand name, informative website and support.
Cons - Bad design, unwillingness to own up to obvious design and manufacturing flaws. Unless you buy a mega-expensive laptop, you will get crap video and sound. Example, our laptops have the same crap 8MB sound and 16 mb video cards that all the Latitude and Inspiron series have. Yes, they use the same freaking card for all those series.
If you get a DELL laptop, you have to go Professional series, and they are big bucks, if you want to do anything closely resembling power computing.
That's an understatement for Dells. I helped people last year with their computers (I'm at college and I was at a computing site and we took phone calls about crap), and a lot of people have had random crap happen with Dell laptops. Like random freezing - that's not uncommon. And I had someone with a Maxtor HD that tried to put it in and it wouldnt work (they had a new Dell desktop and the HD was new). If you can get a deal on a Dell then it's worth it, otherwise it isn't. And you need to pay a lot or you get crap overall with Dell. The only reason Dell makes money is because they sell people a lot more of a computer than they will need in the next 3 years.

Hmm, at Webster Place I think it was $9.25 or $9.50 for a ticket. At least Webster Place has free parking, although it really doesn't matter on Friday or Saturday night.

If it's almost exclusively for gaming, I'd go with the H-P. It's got the superior processor (in terms of speed, although the P4 runs cooler) and an actual video card. And the 54g wireless is nice too (that's one of those things I hate about the Centrinos - they only use 802.11b, which sucks compared to what is out now). The Toshiba has Works while the HP has Corel, so I'd take that into account. The Toshiba has a faster system bus though. I'd go with the HP if the price isn't that much. They aren't that different overall, so I'd probably use price as the determinant.
And for people that say laptops aren't good for gaming, you'd be surprised what they will run. I have a Celeron 1.33 GHz with integrated graphics and it runs all these games just fine (games that are about a year old)

what is this thing you call Beta? (sorry, i'm too young to rememberÂ
) Beta is the OTHER VCR format.
Offering higher image quality in smaller cassetes, it fell to the larger, lower-res VHS anyways.
...
I think the big thing that killed it was you could get more time in a VHS tape than a Beta one, but I don't know for sure.
Not so much that as Sony wouldn't let people sell Beta tapes with porn on them. So we got stuck with a lower quality product. And I don't remember Betas myself, but you can buy VHS tapes in all sorts of lengths. Or at least you could (as was previously stated, the tapes were really expensive).

I'm pretty sure that in Char's Counterattack, Kayra is promised a pineapple salad when she comes back, by whats-his-name (astonaige or something like that, I think). Of course, she doesn't make it back alive, although someone else makes it out in the Re-GZ. And you had to watch it with subs for this - it was among some of the things changed in the dub (I believe it was spaghetti or something like that). Seem familiar?
-
We definitely need to be able to see these commercials.

I'm just gonna go to some parties. I was gonna dress up as Patrick Bateman but I decided not to after the dinner/presentation I went to on Wednesday (2 hours on power transmission systems and people like CAISO and PJM, not fun so I don't feel like dressing up). This also means I'm stuck with beer only (odds are only beer, and I'm a Jack Daniels person)

Nice valks, you even have the styrofoam that goes above the head for the VF-1S. And each of them has a Takatoku catalog. It would be nice if someone had a guide for bashing the hasegawa armor and an HCM.

Although the thing at the top says $200, at the end he says $150 and ebay for $75 to 100.

Rez
and the Biohazard games don't need a lot of Japanese knowledge
their out in english.....
Rez (at last check) was fairly rare in english and the biohazard games are playable and good. And they both don't need japanese knowledge. And there was the version of Rez that came with the trance vibrator.

My guess is, he saw how much Macross stuff goes for in Australia and figured, he could sell it for less than most Australian sellers, and still get more for his 1/48 than he could if he sold it on the American eBay.
Actually, it's an item from eBay in the US appearing on the Australian site (he ships internationally, so that's why). I've gotten e-mails from people all over the place using their eBay sites.
-
I used to play America's Army every day, but I haven't played it in over a year. Lack of a single player was a pain and the time between rounds was really annoying. Personally I think Ghost Recon is much better.
-
Good luck with all this. And you took the car title was definitely a good move.

Definitely the Gundam Fix 0017b Zeta Plus. I've been seriously considering getting that while I haven't thought about the other stuff. Although if the Hikaru VF-1S were on there...
I have this and it isn't that great. Its okay. But again it confirms why I only buy sellect pieces from the FIXX line and don't buy the whole series. while it has the looks the material quality is really poor. Go for the prime. If you already have a Hikaru and or a max 1/48 1A wait for a milla 1J
Needless to say, it looks really cool. And when you've got like 10 or so valks, something else to display looks pretty good, even if it is only an ok toy (how many people bought the first 1/48s with all the QC problems, only to have them be re-released?).
-
I'm gonna look like myself, only drunk!

My plan as well. Halloween is the best time for parties at college. And dressing up as something requires too much effort.
-
If, I could only get a good deal on the DYRL VF-1S Hikaru 1/48, I would be the happiest man arround.

vic.
I'd advise you to check Toy-wave for that, now if only I didn't have problems spending more than $100 on a toy.
As for me, I haven't been collecting non-stop. I started with Macross in 2000, forgot about it until I was in Japan in 2001, and I've been getting stuff every so often since then. Of course, most of the stuff I get is from people that don't have a clue what they are selling, so I just turn around and sell it.
Lets see the latest ver. of your model collecti

Nice collection Grayson, it's the first time I've seen someone with all the destroids in 1/72.
